[ make sure that any of your character is cropped out first to make your work easier as usual ]
2) it will looks like this. instead of artwork character, you can also use minimalist since they're much easier to crop and doesn't seems very complicated. just type "anime minimalist" on your search engine.

( i use mirai cause i like her thoo )
3) next, you can also add glitters or mini patterned pngs which will fit well with your minimal, i doesn't recommend filter except brightness level because filter will make your banner looks weird.

back to your minimal, try to balance the out stand between the background and your minimal like adding a darker stroke to your minimal. please always be aware of your minimal so that it will stay the main visual on the front
5) add text to your banner. to make your text clearly visible to be read, you can add texture onto your text. click the capital A icon and click texture. it will redirect to your gallery where you can either choose another texture or use your character's trait onto it.

6) i choose the minimal from gallery and cropped the bottom part out where i placed the text on, then click the tick icon
it is better to crop the part where you think is suitable to match with your overall graphic.

7) adjust your text line-up and move your text anywhere you want as long as it is a place where your text won't clash with the first layer that much.
8) make sure that your minimal stay as the first layer, then add light colored stroke like white to your text. this will make your text looks visible and blended
