Chapter 1 Ketsueki's History Lesson P1. 1

Long ago, well actually 615 years ago, the Great Vampire And Werewolf war ended. Who won you might've asked, neither. A treaty was made between my great grandfathers. The head of the Vampires (Dracula), and the head of the werewolves (Van Helsing). Dracula gave his son or my grandfather, Vlad. While Van Helsing gave his daughter or my grandmother, Myra. They were supposed to give birth to the future leaders of both factions, and she did.

Myra gave birth to the first Vampire and werewolf hybrid ever, Mikkusu or as I used to call him, dad. He led the Vampires and werewolves after Dracula and Van Helsing stepped down, which happened in his early teens. He was stated to be a magical genius, and physically superior to both races. His demonic energy reserves were above Dracula's And Van Helsing's combined. At the age of 18, he was a low tier Z rank/class, which is one of the strongest ranks/classes you could be in.

He was leading them for centuries, allies, peace, and prosperity came with his rule, as did many enemies, but his strength was more than enough for any and every adversary. Time passed and even with a kingdom he knew loved him, he felt alone. No one to confide in because no one seemed to notice his mental state. With every victory and new accolade to his name, he felt like everyone viewed him on this high pedestal, everyone, family, friend, and enemy. 

So he then decided he needed a woman, but neither a Vampire or werewolf, instead a human. Mikkusu chose a human because he knew choosing Vampire or werewolf would lead into the other monster race assuming he was showing favoritism.

So he went in search for a worthy woman, and his searches led him to the ex-werewolf huntress and current dragon slayer, Gabrielle. Upon meeting her, she was the first to treat him like an equal, even less actually. She respected his power, but felt like he was overrated and conceited. After many attempts at his life which led to her slowly realizing his true character, he finally challenged her to a duel, and if he won, she shall become his wife. The outcome of this battle should be obvious, and if it's not, he won.

Her suppressed feelings for Mikkusu were realized after the battle, she never met anyone with such power and a down to earth peaceful view, but when he first announced his plan for a human wife, the Vampires and werewolves were disappointed at his choice, but not because of it not being one of theirs. It was because the average human is weak, and wouldn't be able to sustain the baby's power, but luckily he chose Gabrielle. Gabrielle or mother was a high tier S rank/class, her magic power was immense for a human.

(Just stick with me for a few more pages, it gets better. I know it starts off rough.)
