I never knew the girl that gave her life to the void.
I couldn't imagine the pain that she couldn't avoid.
The unending darkness that gave her no other choice.
I wish I met the boy that never had a thing, and lived a hollow life.
Taking the path of his parents, one that no one should follow.
Now he lays empty in the gutter, as I walk by realizing life is a hard pill to swallow.
I'd have given the world to give them another chance.
This world is a constant battle with the Devil, some would say it's a dance.
