CHAPTER NINE

June 12, 2001.

Her head was raised and a spoon was forced into her mouth. The food tasted bland and sticky. She gulped down and in less than two seconds, she puked all over the place. She heard a groan and a mumbling sound but couldn’t make out the words. A hand went beneath her dress and rubbed her stomach comfortingly. It felt familiar but her brain was overpowered by fever for her to know whose hand it was. She felt the spoon once again on her lips and she automatically opened up. This time, she didn’t throw up.
“Good girl” the voice said.
