The first day I saw you
you were wearing a red t-shirt,
looking at me like I was the angel sent from up above
Told me it had been months
and that your love for me would never fade to dust
Second date and you were helping with chores
Told me you'd do anything to be with me
Because your love would never fade to dust
The glances in school
and all those pointless talks
You showed me your room
And said that I had a special place in your heart
Said that your love would never fade to dust
When I tried to end it
you knew I was scared
You said it'll all be fine
That your love will never fade to dust
Finally I left you
but you told me when you were with her
That your love for me could never fade to dust
And now today
it has been four months
to when we broke up
And when someone asks you now
You say
I've said this before
But my love for her will never fade to dust

(I wrote this in October originally but never published it..) This poem is for a special someone out there who will probably never know this is up. Well, either way, I need to tell them something, so, here it goes:
Babe, Goofy, Thanks for everything. You showed me how it felt to be loved. I can not believe how stupid I have been. I didn't mean to break you apart. I love you. Always have and always will. If you really are reading this, please know that I am sorry. I love you, babe.
