Chapter 43, newborn

- A few months later-

I am 9 Months pregnant.

Everyone says I'm glowing.

The baby will be due any day now.

Me and Taylor had finished watching a movie so we decided to head upstairs to bed.

I was sleeping peacefully until a pain in my stomach woke me up.

I started moving my legs around, trying to sit up.

The sheets were wet.

Did I pee the bed? I thought to myself.

I didn't pee the bed.

The baby was coming.

Now.

"Taylor." I said, shaking him awake

"Yea babe?" He asked, rolling over.

"It's time." I said, swinging my legs off of the bed.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?!" He asked, rushing out of bed.

"Woah woah, calm down, I'm fine!" I said, smiling.

Taylor grabbed my bag and we got into the car.

Once we got there, The contractions started.

We got a room within 30 minutes.

"Are you okay babe." Taylor said, squeezing my hand.

"I'm so excited." I said, Tiredness taking over.

Then the doctor walked in.

"Ok mrs.Caniff, you're dilated enough, Let's do this!" She said, setting up everything.

I pulled Taylor's face close to mine.

"I'm scared." I said, a tear slipping from my eye.

"Oh my gosh baby, I'm so sorry, I shouldn't of done this to you." He said.

"You're going to do amazing, I will be right here, and if you feel any pain you can squeeze my hand, ok?" He said, smiling at me, kissing my forehead.

"Ok, are you ready to push?" The nurse asked, putting her mask on.

"Yea." I said, taking a deep breath.

"3, 2, 1, push!" She said.

I pushed as hard as I could, squeezing Taylor's hand.

The pain was unbearable.

"Ow babe, I didn't know you were that strong." He said, whispering in my ear.

(Let's skip the birth bc kind of uncomftorable lol)

4 hours later, baby Lily was born.

"Oh my god." I said, tears rushing down my face

I lent my head back, giving Taylor a reassuring squeeze.

"You did amazing, I'm so so proud of you." Taylor said, giving me a kiss.

I lifted my head and looked over to the side of the room where my baby was being cared for.

"Happy Birthday Lily." I said, Smiling at Taylor.

I must've been really tired, because i fell asleep immediately.

I woke up with Katy next to me, cradling The baby.

"Hello mommy." Katy said, smiling at me.

"Hi, Where's Taylor?" I asked.

"He went to the bathroom, he wouldn't leave your side." She said, giggling.

"Oh." I said, putting my head back on the pillow, smiling.

"Can I hold her?" I asked Katy, sitting up slowly.

"Of course." She said, Placing my newborn daughter into my arms.

"She's so beautiful." I said, choking up.

"I know, Me and Dave were talking about it, she has your nose." She said, smiling.

Now tears were rushing down my face.

"Hi, I'm your mommy, and I love you so much." I said.

Then Taylor walked in.

"The new mommy is awake!" He said, walking over to the side of the bed and giving me a kiss.

"How much does she weigh? I kinda fell asleep." I said, Passing her over to Taylor.

"7 Pounds 2 ounces." He said, rocking her in his arms.

"Jessa!"

I looked over to the door to see Natalie, Sam, and my aunt walk in.

"Sam." I said, giving her a hug.

"Congrats!" Natalie said

"Thank you, it was painful, but it was totally worth it." I said, smiling

Everyone was seated in chairs, Taylor next to me when some old friends walked in.

"We're here, don't worry!" Nash said.

Nash walked in followed by Cameron, Hayes, Carter, Jack and Jack, Dillon and Aaron.

The guys just stood around theroom.

"What's her name?" Cameron asked.

"Lily Anne Caniff." Taylor said, handing her to NAsh.

"Beautiful." Cameron said.

"I'm going to run downstairs for a coffee, does anyone want one?" Katy asked, getting out of her seat

"I will have one." I said, grabbing my phone from my bedside table.

"You have a visitor" the nurse said, opening the door for someone.

A man walked in, I didn't really recognize him at first.

Then it hit me.

"Dad?"
