Imprisoned

Closer

I asked earlier for you to take a closer look at the new cover. Inside the eye there is a girl, presumably Eliza, who is trapped or imprisoned. A twitter friend made it for me and I quite liked the concept and though the new cover was quite eye catching.

Also, I have a very IMPORTANT question which requires your opinions....

I write a lot of poetry in my free time and I was wondering if y'all would like me to include it occasionally in chapters.

Here is an example:

Demons

She danced through the city with flowers in her hair

Because for one night she didn't have a care

The last of her fighting soul pushed out bad thoughts

So that she could have a night of laughter and shots

But it lasted only until the sun brought a new day

And the pain increased with each shining ray

The demons took over, silent but sure

And her soul was no longer pure

They chanted of satan and torture and Hell

And showed her horrors no one lived to tell

They tainted her mind and poisoned her body

This sickly sweet girl quickly turned naughty

The demons only wanted this girl to feel pain

And for this reason they continued their reign

She screamed and fought only to be deemed crazy

And eventually her fighting did turn lazy

She was giving in to the demons that took hold

Because the story wasn't believed by anyone she told

Her appearance didn't change, her soul did instead

But now she had flowers in her hair and demons in her head

That night she made an irreversible choice

And put it all on a tape with the last of her voice

She talked on that tape until her mouth went sore

Then put the tape in her hand and shut the door

She shut out the voices and emotions too

And listened to the demons only she knew

With her eyes on the wrist and back to the wall

She said goodbye once and for all
