"But what if she's changed like Ein? She could die out in the cold if she doesn't find shelter soon, have you seen what she's wearing?" Jax argued.
"Are you an idiot? I doubt she's changed, she's just as bad as Ein was, she-" I started, but was cut off by Ryder.
"Guys, stop! I think there's pros and cons on letting her stay, but we really can't make this decision without Ein.. Like what if Michi was close to Ein and he wants her to stay?" Ryder said in a low voice.
I signed, but agreed on what he stated.
"You're right.. We should just ask Ein what he wants." I said wisely.
"Yeah.. Good thinking babe." Jax said and kissed Ryder's forehead softly, causing him to smile widely.
"Ahh, what would you guys be without me, an arguing mess right now! So unwise!" Ryder teased.
You know, he's probably right. It was wrong of me to pick a small debate with Jax other than thinking it out properly.
But it's not like I was going to admit that.
So I just laughed sarcastically and began walking back to the front door.
"Come on guys, let's go ask Ein." I motioned for them to follow along.
However, once we reached the still-open door, neither Ein or Michi were in sight.
"What? Where did they go?" I said, trying to ease my arising panic.
Jax and Ryder's eyes went wide, but stayed silent as they followed me, who dashed out the front door in hopes to find Ein.
"Ein!? Ein! Where are you?!" I shouted in panic, looking around the forest that was surrounding our cottage.
"Ugh, I'm so stupid! It was foolish to leave him alone with her! I knew she was untrustworthy! Ugh, she probably dragged him back to the lodge!" I yelled once again, completely beating myself up for this.
"I'm such an idiot!" I shouted and fell into the cold snow beneath us.
"Kai! Kai! Stay calm, they couldn't have gotten far" Jax interrupted and put his hand on my shoulder, trying to calm me down.
"Guys! Over here!" We suddenly heard Ryder yell from the side of the cottage. I lifted my head out of my palms and looked at him with a confused expression, but got up and ran over to him nonetheless, in hope he found a trace of Ein.
"Stop worrying so much, he's right over here!" Ryder laughed and pointed behind the house.
I curiously walked over to him and looked around the corner, only to find Ein standing with Michi, getting all excited over what seemed to be a car.
"Is that a car? But how?" Jax said, suddenly appearing behind us.
"She's trying to kidnap him in a car! That little bastard using fast vehicles! Not on my watch!" I shouted and stomped over to Michi and Ein.
"Kai! Wait!" Ryder ran after me, but it was too late, as I already had Michi's tail in my hand, and yanked her to the floor with a thud as she landed on the snow.
She let out a loud shriek as I let go of her tail.
"What do you think you're doing?! Trying to take him away in a car now, aye?!" I yelled at her, looking down as she was still shivering on the snow.
