An Ereri Story (Cinderella AU) :: Oneshot::

      Heyyy guyss!! I made this oneshot because I was watching Cinderella lol and wanted to do an Ereri version with my own twist. I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Remember to like and leave a comment! Thanksss xoxo~♡

           Eren always wanted to go to a ball but being the youngest in the house he was never allowed to. The frills and giggles always interested him deeply and his mother promised to take him when he got a little older.
        But alas, his mother died when he was very young and his father remarried to satan reincarnate, he calls her.
          His step-mother was a monster. She had two sons of her own, Reiner and Berthold, who tormented him every single day.                  They forced him to wear rags and clean for them. They got away with it too because his father travelled alot because of work.
        Eren had to sweep and mop everyday because the evil brothers purposely made messes to prolong his agony. He also had to take care of his step- mother's cat, king, who hated him and would always leave him nursing scratches and bites.
        Eren had to put up with this torment for eight years. Everyday felt like a curse to him. But every night when he was finished his chores and allowed to go to bed, he trudged to his tiny room in the attic and looked out the window at the castle in the distance. Oh how many nights he dreamed about dancing into the arms of Prince Levi in a fancy tux and sipping wine. He sighed for that was all just a dream.
         His mouse friends, Armin and Mikasa, brought him some berries to eat with his dull dinner which made him smile. The little things in the world are to be appreciated the most.

        The next morning, Eren is rudely awakened by the sounds of Reiner and Berthold screaming downstairs. He tripped, running out of his room to see what was the matter.

         "Prince Levi is having a ball to pick his prince and everyone in the kingdom is invited!!!!!!" They screamed.

        Eren stood to aside bursting with excitement on the inside. It was no secret to anyone in the kingdom that Prince Levi was gay and everyone was very supportive of him when he came out. He was a very picky person when it came to partners so this was a huge deal.
          His step-mother walked into the room gazing upon her children's excitement.
         Eren decided to take a chance.

        "Step-mother may I go to the ball too?" He asked in a small voice.

        Reiner and Berthold stopped their squealing and stood next to their mother with their noses turned up at Eren.

       "A ball hosted by the Prince of Maria is no place for the likes of people like you. " Reiner commented.

        Eren ignored his snide remark and looked to his step-mother with hopeful eyes.

        She smirked at him with a glint in her eyes.

        "Sure you may go.... But only if you finish all of your work and have something to wear."

        "Oh thank you, thank you!" He said cheerfully as he skipped off to start his work for the day.

       "You are planning something aren't you mother?"

         "Yeah why would you allow him to go he'll only embarrass us." Reiner and Berthold said.
