You hadn't seen Grant in a few weeks. Between his filming schedule and your coursework it was near impossible. You'd even been slacking off with Skype and texting.

That's when you got the idea.

A few days before you'd gone out to visit Grant on set, your professors told you that all your finals would be online. Essentially, you had no reason to be in class for the finals. You could leave a week early.

At first, you wanted to call Grant, and tell him straight away. But then you got the idea to not to tell him. Instead you would fly to set and surprise him.

So here you were walking behind Candice and Danielle. Your flight had landed at 7pm, which was perfect timing to go to a night shoot.

"You're sure he doesn't know?" You asked Candice and Danielle for the one hundredth time. They had been the ones to help you arrange all of this.

"Did you tell him?" Candice asked, turning to glance at you as she walked. You shook your head. "Then no. He doesn't know. Now stand right here." She stopped right next to a camera that was aimed at Grant.

"Put your hood up, that way it doesn't ruin the surprise." Danielle suggested as she pulled the hood of your, well Grant's, sweatshirt up over your hair. "Okay!! Here we go!" She was giddier than you about this whole thing.

The plan was to call out Grant's name as soon as the scene started. The whole cast was aware besides him. They weren't making very discreet though. Every member of the cast and crew was walking around with suspicious smirks on their face, which clearly Grant was picking up on.

"What? Is it the costume? I know. I look ridiculous." He shouted at someone as they chuckled a little walking past him. You couldn't help but laugh at him. That's when you blew your cover.

In honesty, you should have known better than to laugh. One, your laugh was very distinctive. Two, it was very loud. Three, Grant would know it from a mile away.

"Y/N?" Grant's green eyes got wide as he started scanning the crowd. You quickly jumped behind the camera, but you knew it wouldn't hide you for long. "I heard you laugh. You're here."

"C'mon Grant. You're delusional." Candice tried to help you, but she sounded as fake as it got. You peeped over the camera to see your boyfriend roll his eyes at her and continue to look around. It took only one second for his eyes to scan over yours and jump right back. Within seconds his eyes lit up.

You could've sworn he was running as fast as The Flash did when he realized you were there.

"How in the hell?!" He asked, his voice muffled by your shoulder as he hugged you.

"Magic?" You responded, snuggling yourself into him. While the costume wasn't the most comfortable hugging outfit, it was still a hug from the man you had so desperately missed. "I missed you."

"You have no idea how much I've missed you." Grant pulled back and looked down at you. A soft smile lit up his face as he kissed your forehead. "Best surprise ever!"
