Chapter 33 / moving on

I woke up to the ear piercing alarm next to me, I maybe got 3 hours of sleep last night. Over thinking was at an all time high for me.

I managed to climb out of bed and get into the shower. I played some music to wake me up, but every song reminded me of Grayson because we always listened to music together.

I hopped out and dried my hair putting it into a messy pony tail. I did my makeup and got dressed into my adidas joggers and a stussy hoodie. I walked downstairs to make breakfast.

"Hey mom" I groaned
"Hey sweetie" she says sliding me already cooked toast
I smiled and began eating it

"If your not feeling it today you can wait and go tomorrow" she said
I smiled at how much I loved my caring mother.

"It's okay mom, I already asked Ally to pick me up" I smile
She nods giving me a kiss on the cheek before heading to work.

Ally shows up and I put on my best fake smile, but being my best friends for years she knows it's fake.

"So how are you?" She asks after a silent 5 minutes
"Better, I guess" I said while playing a game on my phone
"We've all missed you" she says making me smile
"I've missed you guys too"

I don't mean to be a bitch to them, I love them all for everything they do for me. I guess I just know no matter what happens or what I say they know I don't mean to hurt their feelings.

We pull into school and I try not to look but my eyes wonder to the twins unofficially parking spot where they always park. Ally sees me looking
"At least you don't have to worry about seeing them anymore" she says so casually

"What?" I ask looking at her
"They moved" she says looking at me confused
"They didn't tell you?"
"What, no" I say grabbing my bag angrily "what do you mean they moved?"
"Well, they decided now that their going on tour they will miss a lot of school so this was the perfect time for them to start online"

My eyes go wide and I feel a tear rolling down my cheek
"How could they not tell you?" She says as shocked as I am
"Because they clearly don't care for me anymore" I say getting out the car
"Grace wait" Ally yells following me

"I'm sure they were going to tell you" she says linking arms with me
I pull away "no, Grayson and I broke up, he doesn't have to fill me in on his life anymore" I say rushing to the bathroom

I sit in the stall crying. I was upset the didn't tell me they were moving to a completely different state, I was upset they didn't even say goodbye, I was upset that Grayson moved on so easily. I mean yeah we broke up, but after everything we've been through, the years of friendship, they didn't think it would be a decent thing to say goodbye.

Not even a month ago we were in LA together, Gray and I sharing a bed, and now I have no idea what's going on in their life's. I guess they've moved on just like that. And I have to move on too.
