A/N- I've been reading nothing but HeixEd for the last few days, so here, have a oneshot

Can't resist the urge of emotional torture :)

Edward POV

How long has it been?
How much can I stand not seeing you?
I feel so hollow without you here

I was staring up at the ceiling, the room that Alphonse and I shared. I sat up, Alphonse's gaze locking with mine.

Why did you have to drift off?
How much longer do I have until I see you?

I do need to continue to tell myself to let go. Alphonse sat next to me, wrapping me in an embrace.

I want to love you and stop trying to conflict myself
I don't want to forcefully return excuses for love to someone else

"I love you Edward" Alphonse whispered, smiling
"I love you too Al" I replied, pulling myself away from him.

These lies are so bitter
I just want them to stop

I realised that I wasn't listening to whatever Al was saying, I was simply staring off into space.
"Are you ok brother?" He asked softly
"Yeah, I'm fine" I replied emotionlessly

I can't go on like this for much longer
Why did you fade away?

"Are you thinking of Alfons again?" He asked. I nodded. Alphonse knew of Alfons, but not of our relationship.
"Yes" I replied simply

The world that I live in now pains me
It reminds me of you

"He's gone now Edward. You couldn't even try bring him back here" Alphonse said, trying to comfort me with another hug, but I just backed away.

I hate how feelings destroy me
I miss you

"I know that Alphonse. I just miss him" I said, standing up. I walked out, grabbing a coat. Alphonse went to follow me, but stopped when I walked out of the house into the night.

I would try join you if it wouldn't pain everyone else so much
But I will continue waiting for the day we meet once again
We will be together once again
