"It's a shame"

"because I loved him too"

Hinabi lay down the flowers she had pick up for her uncle. Her mother Hinata was standing behind her smiling, although inside she was still a little sad about Nejis death. He was her cousin, but for her he was like a brother.

"All the good young die.. Why?", asked Hanabi and looked at her mother who made a suprising face.

"What do you mean?", she asked.

Hanabi answered: "I heard a little boy in Suna-Gakure died..."

Hinata had heard about it. She didn't knew him but she heard he was killed.

"Did you knew him?", she asked.

Hanabi noded: "No, I didn't. But I meet someone who was a friend of him and started thinking. Neji was also young when he died. Not as young as I but...."

She was thinking how to say it. This little children was clever but coudn't put into words that she didn't knew many old people who died.

"Jirajya died too long before you were born and he was... I think around thirty," Hinata said, but inside she knew he was older. He just acted young so it wasn't easy to tell how old he really was for her.

"Now I am afraid that you might die too. Aren't you turning thirty in two years?", her daughter asked.

"Oh no! Don't worry! I will stick a long time with you," Hinata replied fast.

Hanabi smiled. 

"Also the third Hokage died really old. To be honest your grandpa said he would maybe die because of his age but he died protecting the village," the mother said.

"Hinata!"

The mother and her daughter turned around and saw Tenten runing to them.

"Naruto was looking for you," Tenten said to Hinata.

"Uhm okay. I better check what he wants," she said but then looked at Hanabi.

"It's okay. I take care of her," Tenten said smiling.

She liked the little girl. Hanabi was young but already a little badass. Hinata was a little afraid that Tenten might teach her to become really badass but she trusted her so she left them alone while she did went to look for Naruto.

Hanabi was sitting down and telling Neji about her day. Other young wrote in a diary but Hanabi who liked all the stories she heard about her uncle so she decided to tell him and pretend while doing it he was still alive. She was talking and laughing and while Tenten looked at her she almost had a feeling like Nejis ghost would be there and Hanabi would talk to him and he would reply.

Tenten coudn't see the ghost or hear him but she could imagine what he would say.

Tears came to her eyes.

"I think Onii-san likes Sarada but he would never admit. I wonder if you ever liked a girl...", Hanabi said and then she suddelny looked behind her to Tenten.

"Ohh.. did she knew?", Hanabi asked.

Suprised Tenten looked at Hanabi and was wondering what Neji said.

It was kinda obious but she coudn't believe it. And besides she coudn't belive that there was a ghost of Neji.

She thought Hanabi acted like this to cheer her up. It worked a bit.

Then Hanabi stood up and run to Tenten and said: "Can you please hold me?"

Tenten put her arms around Hanabi and lifter her. She was hugging the girl. She was still but already getting a little heavy. Tenten was sure Hinata wasn't able to hore her up anymore and Tenten only could do it because Sensei Gais training also concist of muscle training.

Hanabi gave a little kiss on Tentens cheeck.

"That's from Neji," she said.

"Tell him thank you," she said.

But then Hanabi said something that really made Tenten think Nejis ghost was really there: "No need to thank him. You kissed him on his cheek before."

That was true. The day Neji was dying Tenten wanted to kiss him go bye before the last bit of life left his body but because everyone was around she coudn't bring herself to kiss him on the mouth so she kissed his cheek.

"Baka! I miss you! How could you leave me alone?!", Tenten said out loudly now.

Hanabi who smiling before stoped smiling all of a sudden.

"He is sorry but he wants you to be happy now more than everything in this world. Please don't hate him... He loves you...", she said trying to calm Tenten down.

Tenten let the little girl down and stared at Nejis grave.

"It's a shame," Tenten said. "Because I loved him too!"
