Glimmer & Darkryi's Back Story

| Chapter 1 | A True Hope |

One morning when glimmer was 11, she was kicked out of her house. She started walking down the sidewalk hopeless. she saw this black and purple shaggy hunched up thing down an alley way. She wondered what it was and wandered over and touched its shoulder. It quickly turned around with fear in its eyes. "Who are you!" screamed the black and purple creature. " Why are you here! who sent you!" He screamed again " I'm not here to hurt you! I'm glimmer by the way. " Quietly whispered glimmer.  He opened his little eyes and his wings flapped " Oh, I am Darkryi. "

A while later.. He sat down and Glimmer sat down beside him. " How old are you?" Darkryi said "I am 11.. Tomorrow  is my birthday and I was kicked out of my home." whispered Glimmer. " Oh I am 11 to.." He chuckled. " I'm sorry if I speak a bit quiet... I was hit Over and over....."She quietly said tucking her head into her knees. Darkryi looked over at her and saw bruises. " Oh.. I'm sorry you had to experience that.." Darkryi said looking away. Glimmer blushed faintly and lifted her head. " Oh.. Thanks.." She whispered. " We best be going to sleep.. " Darkryi faintly said. He dragged over a small piece of cardboard and news paper.  " here... you can sleep on the cardboard and newspaper.. I'm fine without it." He said as he patted the cardboard. Glimmer faintly blushed. " Oh.. Thank you, Thank you a lot." Darkryi lay down on the hard concrete and Glimmer lay down on the hard cardboard and stained news paper. " Goodnight Glimmer..." Said Darkryi quietly. Glimmer was already fast asleep. He sighed. " Goodnight I guess.."

In The Morning...

Glimmer slowly woke up to a delicious smell " Hmm..? " She faintly muttered. " Oh your finally awake!" Darkryi said excitedly. " Whats that good smell?" Glimmer faintly whispered. " Oh, about that.." He faintly said blushing. " I saved up enough money to buy us both a meal.. " He said looking at the ground smiling. Glimmer looked so surprised " Really? Thank you so much!" She said as she ran over and hugged Darkryi. He deeply blushed and hugged back. " So..." She said embarrassed. " What is it?" Glimmer said. " Oh, its some scrambled eggs." Darkryi quietly said. " Scrambled eggs? Really!! I never get anything like that! I usually just get mush from the sewers.." Glimmer said as she tried to shout." Mush? Those people must be terrible parents! Anyways.. lets eat!"Darkryi said. They desperately ate and ate. " Also.. happy birthday! " Darkryi said happily. " Oh I thought you would have forgotten! Thank you!" She said as they finished their meal. A cold breeze swept by as they ate.  Glimmers fur stood up on end and her wings curled up over her. " Oh your cold? " Darkryi said as he slowly crawled  over to Glimmer. " Yeah.. " She said as she shivered. Suddenly she felt warm purple and black patterned wings that were soft and feathery wrap around her. Darkryi was right next to her. They deeply blushed. " Oh.. thank you.. " Glimmer said as she relaxed her wings. " I'm glad your warm.. By the way i'm really warm so you don't have to worry about me.." He said as he snuggled against her. They both closed their eyes and sat there in the alley as snow started to fall. Glimmer noticed it started to snow. " Hm?" She opened her eyes and looked up and snow was slowly falling. " Its snowing!!" she happily said. He chuckled " Yeah!! Lets go play!!" He jumped up and they both ran down the alley and went under a tree.  " This will be a good place. " Darkryi said while sitting down under a frozen tree. She sat down next to him. After a while she grabbed his Paw to keep warm. He suddenly looked over and blushed. You could see the deep red blush on his cheeks. " Sorry.. I was cold.." She said as she let go of his paw and looked over to the other side of the tree. " N-no,no.. Its okay.." He said as he suddenly grabbed her paw She looked over again and they were staring at each other blushing. It was snowing very heavily now. " He got up and ran with her still holding her small paw " where are we going..." She quietly said. He didn't respond and went to the back of a building. " here.. you can go by the heater.. " He quietly said shivering. " O-oh.. thanks. " She said blushing and grabbed his hand again. He wrapped his wings around her to stay warm and to keep her warm. They quietly fell asleep in the snow.

At 5:23 Am..

Darkryi woke up and looked over at glimmer with her wings spread out and quietly sleeping. She was covered in little snowflakes. There were a few on her eyelashes.  He saw a few foxes talking and they suddenly looked over at him when they realized he was there. " Hey you! " One of the foxes screamed making Glimmer wake up. " Scram get out of here! You shouldn't be here! " said the fox towering over him. The fox put a cigarette in its mouth. He blew the smoke in Darkryi's face. Darkryi wheezed and coughed. " Hey stop hurting him! " Glimmer said as she tried to shout. " What are ya gonna do about it  you disgusting crippled thing. " The fox said as he grinned " Ill um.. Ill... BITE YOU!" Glimmer screamed. " Like that will do anything. " Said the mean fox. The fox reached his hand for Glimmer but before The fox could grab her Darkryi ran in front of the foxes grip and made the fox grab him instead. The fox slowly tightened his claw around Darkryi's neck. " Stop stop!! " Glimmer screeched " Darkryi was slowly losing air as his body went limp. The sound of police sirens flooded the area and the foxes quickly let go of Darkryi's neck and ran. Darkryi was left there wheezing. Glimmer crawled over to Darkryi's Limp body with tears streaming down her cheeks. " I know I have only known you for two days but.. Please don't go.. " She said crying. " I promise I wont.. " Darkryi quietly whispered. She tried her best to get him to crawl over to the heater. He lay there by the heater with his eyes closed but he was still breathing. She huddled close to him and hugged him while he Lay there not quite asleep. " I'm sorry this happened.. Its my fault that I came here... " Quietly whispered Glimmer. " Its not your fault.. " He said trying to sit up. "Go back to sleep silly.. " Glimmer quietly whispered. " They soon fell asleep.

( Okay I know this is VERY cheesy so far but, I wont spoil everything for you. By the way here's some information about the characters so far. Darkryi: Purple and black Cat thingy. He is a half fallen devil. Basically he is a cat thingy devil thing with angel wings. His eyes are purple and his tail is the same color as his body but his tail looks like it was dipped with dark purple paint. Ill create a sketch of what they look like to create a better Look. And glimmer is white was blue and purple spatters and streaks in her fur. She has the same kind of wings as Darkryi and she is half angel cat thingy ma bob. Anyways Like I said I will draw sketches.
