It was in that spring,

Where the memories started.

A warm sun that shined,

It all happened.

My friend,

How long am I going to wait?

As the leaves burn,

As the leaves are reborn,

I will be waiting still.

Until I see your face,

That reminded me of home.

I miss you.

As I walk into the spring fields,

It reminded me of you.

It reminded me how calm you were.

You calmly accepted everything.

You knew it all.

You knew its going to end.

But you did not fade.

You were so brave,

And I miss you.

I wonder if the spring breeze,

Will ever relay my feelings,

Of sadness and longing.

"Be safe, " I whisper,

"I want to see you. "

The seasons change,

 But the sapling of hope,

Growing in my heart

Will continue to blossom.

 Will continue to shine,

 Until you come back.

 In that spring day,

 Where the leaves are green,

And I am finally at peace.
