Watch the above clip and spot what's wrong from 3:24 to 3:59

Spotted?

This was just sickening.

It's clip from the movie So Young 2: Never Gone. Can you see how this world is actually romanticizing abuse?

And yet people think that it is oh, so romantic.

Yep, a guy forced himself on me. Oh, so romantic.

When I found the following comment on YouTube, I felt so happy that atleast someone realised how wrong it was:

But then, there were many who were trying to justify the whole thing. Example:

Sure, they fell in love at the end

Sure, they fell in love at the end. But how can this be justified? They boy still forced himself upon the girl, he still kissed her without consent.

Then, there are people like this too:

Okay, the girl liked him. She kissed him before too. But in this clip she was avoiding him. That means she didn't want him to come after her. But he forcefully grabs her and basically eats her face. Had he tried negotiating with her, rather than eating her face, it wouldn't have been categorised as romanticized abuse. Just because someone likes you, that  DOES NOT mean you can do such a forceful thing.

And this too:

It's just a movie? Well, I am going to watch a movie that insults a certain race, makes fun of people who belong to a certain race, stereotypes people belonging to a certain religion, and yeah, promotes gender based discrimination

It's just a movie? Well, I am going to watch a movie that insults a certain race, makes fun of people who belong to a certain race, stereotypes people belonging to a certain religion, and yeah, promotes gender based discrimination. But hey, no offence. It's just a movie!

Perspective comes when there are two opinions to one topic and both the opinions are right. (Eg: Whether you like a certain subject or not) But wrong is wrong. There nothing called "opinion" in topics like these. It's either right or wrong.

It's not over yet, we have a few here too:

I don't know where these people have left their brains

I don't know where these people have left their brains. If you liked someone and you know that they feel something for you too, that doesn't mean your are going to force yourself upon them. Give them time, they said no at first. In this clip, she said no. She is trying to avoid him and he instead of trying to talk, grabs her and eats her face. There is nothing emotional. It's plain abuse, period.

Another one who needs a brain. *Sighs*

She kissed him and gave him hope

She kissed him and gave him hope. Yes, she kissed him. But this time she wasn't ready! She was confused, she didn't no what to do. Yet, you grab her. If he would've truly loved her, no such thing would've happened.

Listen, she may like him, she may love him. But this DOES NOT justify the fact that he kissed her when she said she doesn't want anything.

If someone is flirting with you that doesn't mean your are going to grab them and kiss them *WITHOUT CONSENT*.

Just because they showed affection that doesn't mean you can forcefully do such a thing. It was clear from the above clip that she didn't want him. She wanted to take her own time and pace to sort out things. But our oh, so hot and romantic hero decides to forcefully grab her and kiss her. So romantic.

We aren't trying to insult the movie or anyone related to this movie. Sure, the movie maybe be nice. But the problem starts when people forget the line between romance and abuse.

We aren't here to spread hate against anyone. The only person whom we hate is Romanticized Abuse.

So if you find them anywhere, stay away from them.
