What's this..... ugh, I feel sore all over. I feel like my eyelids got glued together, I have absolutely no strength in my legs nor hands and I feel heavy. I opened my mouth and started gurgling. Wait, gurgling....?

"Her majesty, congratulations on yet another healthy child."

"Oh, my dear, don't you feel happy?"

I could feel the surface below me shift and then two giant fingers, or what I think must be fingers, reached towards me and started stroking the top of my head.

"Yes, congratulations on producing yet another filthy girl."

Then the fingers that were on my head trembled, the surface below me also started to shake.

Well that went sour real quick. What's going on anyway?? Where am I? Why are these giants crowding over me?

"But, your majesty, she is your daughter!!"

The giant that I think I was currently laying on started moving me towards the giant who spouted such negative words before.

"Get that filthy thing away from me. Do you want to be reminded of what happened to your other daughters?"

"I...I... no, your majesty. Please, please have mercy, your majesty."

"I have no need of your useless children. How many more times shall you beg and grovel on my feet before you birth something useful for once?"

The giant who was holding me looked at me and cried, confusing me even more. Who is she and who am I to her? What's going on?

"Leila, for all those yours you've served me in bed, I'll let you keep this filth. From now on, your services will no longer be needed."

"No, your majesty! Please, she can be useful!! I can- I can still give birth to a son!"

Ah, what is this, I'm feeling sleepy.. I don't think I can keep my conciousness any longer...

My name is Lowa. I'm your average girl whose head is always high up in the clouds. Or, specifically in my case, my head is always wandering inside a book.

A week ago, someone lent me a novel which was adapted from a game. I've rarely read novels like it so I was really interested in it. Before reading the book, I researched about the game it was based on.

The game is called 'Romance in a different world' and seemed to be very popular with females. The reason why it's popular is because it showcases very beautifully designed characters with whom we can interact and potentially have a relationship with.

Of course, I don't really want to play this kind of game, but you see, I needed some background check for the novel y'know? And its a free to play..... As long as you have their membership account, ahem.

Two weeks.

I spent two whole weeks to finish this game. I can't believe it. I completely hate that I have to play this character! Like, if I could just interact more with the other characters, and like, how is it possible to have such annoying rivals, do they even have such a thing we call the brain??? WHEEZE.

Alright, nevermind the time I spent for the game. In fact, I've gone on ahead and finished the book as well. It only took me a day to finish (I'm a pro) and my feelings have taken a 180.

I'm in love with the side characters!! The rivals are just misunderstood?! The target and heroine are completely inhuman monsters! I don't understand?

Right, it seems like I've died. It was one of those rare days where I felt like I need to be a healthy human being for once instead of a potato and took a walk to buy some groceries instead of having it delivered to the door.

There was a weird thing on the ground but people just walked around it. Me, being curious, took some time to check out what the weird shiny thing on the ground was.

Then I got pushed to the ground, trampled over and squished into paste by a bus. (Honestly mood)

For your information, I'm somewhat tall and big for peers my age so I should obviously be easily seen in a crowd. Espescially because of my poofy hair, but that day I was lying on the ground without as much as a breath in my lungs as I pondered the secrets of the world.

Then I blanked out.

Whatever happened after was what I've told you already, the whole episode with the giants. But I'm not really sure whats going on exactly.

Have I accidently climbed up the beanstalk by getting squished to the ground? Are the giants actually underground, instead if high up in the clouds?

No, I'm just blabbering to fill the space.
