At around 9 in the morning, Mirasol had readied herself to go along with the plan both Tao and Luhan urged her to do. So with much thought into the day out with Sehun, she thought maybe a picnic would suffice for him. Getting some sunlight, a good scenic view, and eating some good food would make for an enjoyable time, Mira believed so with the many times she had seen it happen in dramas.

So, she prepared all the food that morning, making simple dishes like gimbap, rolled egg omelettes, some braised beef, and plenty of side dishes. She also sliced some fruit as their dessert. She packed all the food into plastic containers and placed them all in the woven basket only Jovelyn had used.

Speaking of Jovelyn, she had been sound asleep for the entirety of Mira preparing for the day. It was weird, really, since Jovelyn was usually an early bird. The younger sister guessed that she must've worked really hard for her to be that tired. So with a written sticky note to tell her of her whereabouts and her plans, Mira left her apartment with the heavy basket in hand.

With just a step to the left, she knocked on Sehun's door. He clearly looked to have been up already by the sounds of his television heard behind him and the smell of coffee wavering in the air.

Mirasol let out a sigh. She didn't even think of what she would do if the man declined her offer for a picnic. What if all her morning preparing was for nothing?

"So, Sehun, I don't know if we're cool enough to be hanging out like this but we should go for a picnic," the half-Korean lass uttered, feeling the shyness hit with her request. A cough left her lips to rid some of the awkward tension. "Just thought you need it after the craziness that happened yesterday..."

The heir's eyes narrowed, his arms now crossed over his chest and his body leaning against the door frame. "Did the boys tell you who she was?" Mirasol froze at the question, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to mention that they told her basically the whole story of him and the new fashion designer. Sehun noticed the expression subtly change and he hummed in understanding. "So they did. And they possibly made you take care of me for it?"

With pursed lips, Mira sheepishly looked away from him. It was a weird situation that she gotten herself into. "Look, I'm sorry, I definitely pried a little too much on this. But, I'm offering something so that you can momentarily forget what happened rather than you dwelling on it. Take it or not."

There was a moment's silence, and after not getting an answer in those few seconds, Mira looked back at him. She was instantly met with judging eyes, his gaze deeply scorching into her soul. A frown pulled at her slightly chapped lips, her brows furrowed together. "If you don't want to do the picnic just tell me!" She huffed out in annoyance.

"Nah, let's do it."

Mira blinked at him. "Huh?"

"I said, we should do it. Why don't you come in and wait so I can get ready?" Sehun opened his door wider for her to enter. He then turned around and went back into his apartment to probably do just what he said. Appalled, Mira cautiously walked into the man's home. "Have coffee if you want."

"Ah, no, it's okay, I'm more of a tea person," Mirasol replied, as her eyes landed on his coffee table in the living room. There, that's what she would have expected from him. Empty beer can bottles were all over the living room. She frowned again at the sight, Isabelle's return must've really shocked him.

Once Sehun had finished dressing up into more appropriate clothes for outside, as well as cleaning up, the two of them left the apartment building. Mira turned towards Sehun just before they walked further down the sidewalk. "So, should we get a taxi or take a bus? I was thinking we go to Han River."

"We can take my car."

Mira glimpsed up at him. "You have a car?"

Sehun nodded. He gestured for her to follow her to their apartment building's small parking lot at the back. They approached one in particular, a Mercedes Benz. Honestly, Mira couldn't have expected much less from him. However, she never thought he'd have one since his shop was just across the street from them. But then again, he could have obviously used it on the way to the Oh Corp's photography studio.

What the hell. And Mira has been using the bus to go over to the studio.

Mira set the basket into the trunk of the car and then she hopped into the passenger seat of the two-seater car. Her eyes widened in awe at how sleek and clean the interior was. The lass was sure she never sat in something so expensive in all her life.

"Impressed?" Sehun asked as he entered the driver's seat. He gave a pleased smirk.

She scoffed with a roll of her eyes, "I can't deny it."

The two of them sped off towards Han River. With the occasional traffic here and there, they luckily had music to void off any awkward silence that could pass between them. At this, Mira couldn't help but hum and bob her head to the beat, her gaze out the window. To be honest, the car ride was enjoyable itself. She hadn't ventured out too far from home ever since moving to South Korea. Basically, everything was a new sight for her.

At one stoplight, there was one street vendor that caught her eye. She leaned closer to the window to get a better look at it, and she gaped, "Oh my gosh, is that cotton candy shaped like a flower?"

Sehun glimpsed over. "You never seen those before?"

"Not one as pretty as that one!"

And without Mira seeing him, Sehun couldn't help but smile at her innocent reaction. When she pulled back to look back at him, Sehun wiped the smile from his face. "By the way, let's not make things weird today."

"Weird? How so?"

"Like, let's just set the line that this isn't a date."

The comment made nearly made Sehun burst out in laughter. "Date? Did you really have to question that?"

"I'm just saying!" Mira grumbled, her cheeks now flushed. "Nevermind then, as long as we both know."

"It won't be a date unless you want it to."

And Mira thought she had said something incredibly ridiculous, but now she was rendered speechless. Even Sehun looked shocked by his own statement. At this moment, the light had turned green and they continued on down the road. Quickly, the male uttered, "I'm kidding, of course."

"Right..."

The two continued on their way and made it to Han River. While Mirasol was the one to have come here for Sehun, she looked far more excited to be in such a place. Lots of people who wanted to enjoy some outdoor activities and the fresh air were here, all chattering and having fun with their loved ones. Mirasol set down the blanket for their picnic at a fantastic spot under a big tree and ushered for Sehun to join her.

Sehun was quiet when he sat on the teal-colored blanket and he watched as she pulled out plastic boxes of the food she prepared. He can't lie that his stomach started growling more in anticipation, each of the food she brought looking more appetizing than the last. There was the last one she took out, and as she uncovered it, there were creme puffs inside.

"Made it last night," the lass murmured.

"Very late at night?" Sehun deadpanned looking at her.

Mirasol frowned, "Were you able to hear me?"

"There was a moment where you hit something? Because I definitely heard you curse through the wall."

She placed the creme puffs in front of Sehun. "So now you know I made these puffs in vain. You better like these even more."

A laugh left Sehun's lips, earning Mira to smile back at him. "Eat up, because I want to do a few things today."

"That sounds like I'm stuck with you the whole day."

"Unfortunately." With a shared smile, the two began their lunch, just the start of their fun-packed day at Han River.
