The only light was the moon, but the boy could see fine. He was sat in a tree waiting for the next patrol of soldiers to pass. He had silvery-white hair tied back in a plat that fell down his back while the shorter bits hung around his face. The soldiers passed below him, waiting just a moment more before jumping from his hiding place letting the moonlight hit him. He wore white pants that puffed out at the bottom, no shoes, bandages around his chest and a sleeveless coat that flew out behind him, revealing several throwing knives and a curved sword in it's sheath strapped to his hip. Wrapped around his right arm was a leather strap and on his left hand was a leather finger-less glove. The boy landed on the next tree and wasted no time jumping up onto the balcony from there. He glanced over his shoulder, letting the moon hit his face, his eyes glowing gold, before he entered the unlit room.
Somewhere in an unknown town, something was taken from its home.
"How much are you willing to pay?" A man in a cloak stood behind a stall on a main street, a few strands of silver-white hair could be seen. "I'll pay you... three?" A smile was on the buyers face, but it fell when he got no reaction "I don't have anymore..." This time a smile formed upon the sellers unseen face "Well then, if you're willing to give everything for it, I guess I could give you a discount, however, you must never speak of this, they'll think I've gone soft," a small chuckle passed the sellers lips "Of course, of course, I would never say a word!" "Good," the buyer withdrew the cash needed to pay, three thousand god coins (a/n not a typo), "Very good," was all the seller said before vanishing, leaving a small crib behind. A baby lay within covered in a thin silk cloth "Hello little Nathaniel."
