I fondled the piece of paper that contains another article about me while comfortably drinking my cup of tea over my bed.

Well, ano bang bago? Of course I'll always be one of the topics of this whole place, considering the fact that I'm from a well-off family and, I don't know if it's right to say this myself, but I'm alluring and enticing-kagaya ng sabi nila.

Aside from being strongly attractive and enticing, I yield the most phenomenal gift a vampire may have-Intelligence. My knowledge and wisdom in all aspects is already on par with the gods, making me the most formidable and invulnerable opponent everyone may face.

Like how the most vampires, I can't walk on bright daylight, not because I'll turn into ashes but I love my skin so much I don't want to be tan, please take not that: Dusk is my dawn.

Mercy is not in my vocabulary. Death is a gift I can give you instantly, napaka empathetic ko, di ba? I can even be a definition for the word perfection. Synonymous na nga yung pangalan ko sa word na perfect, but not really because my family is my biggest flaw.

"Police suspects Yurikai Davies behind Bourne's death." Binasa ko ang headline dahan dahan at tumawa.

The headline's pretty bland right? But baka may kakatok na naman sa bahay namin at sasabihin ide-detain ako for interrogation. 'Di ko na mabilang ilang interrogation na ang nadaluhan ko dahil suspect na naman ako sa pagkamatay ng kaibigan ko. Well, kaibigan ba talaga?

'Di ko masabi kung may kaibigan ako, baka nga kahit sa acquaintance category wala ring mapapabilang. Aside from, fake sila, they're sleeping peacefully in their coffins.

About Ashe Bourne, the one who made it in the headline, it was an unwanted death and truth to be told, wala talaga akong kinalaman doon kahit gusto ko siyang patayin. Kung sino mang pumatay sakaniya, I want to thank him/her, it really is appreciated.

I don't want to get into specifics but in my personal opinion, her death is unwanted but just. A gift I must say.

Tumayo naman ako at lumabas sa kwarto ko. This place is getting more and more suffocating as days go by. Can I even call this a home? This is more like a prison.

My father's secretary then appeared in front of me. Tinaas ko naman ang isang kilay ko bago magsalita. "What's your business here?"

"Sir Yzekiel would like your presence in his office right now, Miss." Sabi nito. Tumango naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"Take care of the article about me." Utos ko naman sakaniya bago siya nag bow at umalis.

Binagalan ko naman ang lakad ko para mairita sa kakahintay si Yzekiel. When I reached his office, I made a grand entrance only I can pull off.

"I made it to the headlines once again and this deserves a celebrstion, Yzekiel!" Sarcastic kong wika sakaniya habang naglalakad patungo sa upuan sa harap ng desk niya.

Nang makaupo naman ako ay hinilot niya ang sentido niya. "I wish I can live on the day where your name isn't on the newspaper anymore."

Umirap naman aki bago magsalita. "That's awfully dumb. You're well aware that we don't die unless killed right? Di bagay magpaawa sayo Yzekiel."

I earned a deadly glare from my father. I addressed Yzekiel as dad in the early days but 'di na ngayon. Because, why would I? He is very far from being a father figure to me. Wala nga siyang nagampanan bilang magulang ko.

"What now? You're going to get angry at me because you can't earn the honorific you wished you deserve? Act like a father and we'll see." Sabi ko at padabog na tumayo.

Naglakad naman ako papunta sa pinto at akmang lalabas na ng bigla siyang lumitaw sa harap ko. Hinawakan niya ako sa braso at tiningnan ng masama.

"That's it Yuri, you've successfully pressed all my buttons! Pack your bags! I don't want to see even an inch of your shadow in this place!" Sigaw niya.

Is this a blessing in disguise?Mapanuya naman akong ngumiti sakaniya at nagsalita. "Gladly."

Let me point out one thing about the Pelagus. The sun is ruthlessly hot! I'm a vampire, how am I supposed to react with this? I mean, as a vampire I am as pale as paper and being here in the will burn me!-well, not literally but, my skin will tan.

And of course, I should be hotter than the sun!

"School of All Dimensions" I read it outloud. I scoffed, parehas kaming SAD nung acronym ng school? Really.

The locals gave me this direction kung interesado daw ako mag-aral dahil boarding school naman daw ito at mukha naman daw akong mayaman kaya subukan ko daw kung makakapasok ako.

For the school department naman, I don't think they have the guts to decline THE Yurikai Davies.

Wala naman akong plano na hindi mag aral, and I think that it's a wise decision to use the cash Yzekiel left me in education. He seriously stripped me off with the luxury I had, leaving me with nothing but a bag of cash and bags of clothes. Which is already okay, kaysa naman sa wala.

Dirediretso naman akong naglakad papasok sa school na 'to, as elegant as I can be, I'm Yurikai Davies afterall.

There are a lot of weird people, from dogs to witches, how weird can this place be? Bakit magkakasama kami sa isang lugar, is this an arena or they just want to have a glimpse of bloodshed between races?

"What the hell?" I muttered, nang makita ko na magkakasama ang vampire na gaya ko, witches and dogs. I rolled my eyes due to the annoyance and headed to the registrar.

I placed the bag of cash over her table and handed out my hand. "Give me the keys, and oh, don't forget to return the excess money." Sabi ko.

She wasn't even fazed at my presence. The nerve of this old hag! Instead, she handed me couple of papers with a pen.

"Sign first, Davies." Striktong sabi niya. Di naman na ako nagulat dahil alam niya ang oangalan ko, dahil dapat lang alam niya kung sino ako.

"Done, now give me the keys." I dropped the pen infront of her and then again handed out my hand, at saka niya lang binugay yung susi.

"Room 207. Enjoy your stay, Miss Davies." Sabi niya. Hindi ko naman yon pinansin at tinalikuran siya.

Using my ability to run faster than a cheetah, I easily got to room 207. I have no time to waste, I hinted that there's a dog inside, so I didn't bother to use my keys and just twisted the doorknob to enter, of course, without a knock.

"Stay where you are if you don't want to get slaughtered." I seriously said while looking at the dog-werewolf rather who is actually smiling or grinning from ear to ear.

She does really resemble a dog.

"Hey! Aren't you Yurikai Davies? Woah! I'm Ivy Lay Litch, a pleasure to meet you!" Masigla niyang bati habang nakaway ang dalawa niyang kamay sa akin. Tiningnan ko lang siya maigi bago umirap at pumunta sa kama ko para umupo. After all, it is a tiresome day.

Hindi na din ako nagulat na kilala niya ako, remember I'm THE Yurikai Davies and my name doesn't just end there.

"You know mamayang gabi pwede tayong magikot sa premises ng S.A.D para alam mo na din yung pasikot sikot tapos di ka maligaw! Tapos masarap yung waffles nila sa cafeteria promise 'di ka magsisisi na gumastos ka..." Hindi ko naman na pinansin yung mga sinasabi niya.

I deeply sighed with the thought that I have to endure her persistent bickering until the day I can get out of here.
