A little part of me believes he left some of his feelings for me back in Italy-- the place he visited to forget me.
He manages to remind me that he is content with what we have, but I'm convinced that he can't mutter anything more than that. Because that's all he is: Content. He is no longer overwhelmed with anymore extravagant vocabulary to describe us, only the simple word "content."
The girl he fell in love with months ago has completely reinvented herself. Maybe not so by her choice, but it is still her fault that she's done so.
So baby, when I look into your now dull eyes, I will forgive you for not loving me anymore. Because you loved who I used to be and I understand that you can't bring yourself to love who I am now.
