Roxy sat in her room, a throbbing headache making her head pound. She let out a sigh, closing the curtain. Any sunlight was making her head hurt worse. She curled up in her bed, putting her laptop on her stomach. She messaged Jane.

Roxy: hi janey

Jane: Oh! Hello Roxy! How are you today? I hope you're doing well.

Roxy: i could be doing a whole lot better thats 4 sure

Jane: Oh dear... please tell me you haven't been drinking...

roxy: i havnt butt i think im gettin sick

Jane: Oh poor dear. I'll be over in a few minutes with some soup. You sit tight, and good god

jane: roxy get off the computer! It will only make your headache worse!

Roxy: janey u dont hav 2 come over im alright by myself

Jane: I'm on my way

Roxy let out a sigh as she closed her computer. She fell asleep and didn't even hear Jane come in. Meanwhile, Jane was in the kitchen, cooking Roxy some soup. She was being as quiet as she could. Soon the soup finished, and Roxy woke up. Jane opened the door to Roxy's room, holding a bowl of soup. Roxy looked at Jane, a bit groggy from her nap. She rubbed her eyes, sitting up and stretching. Jane smiled.

"How are ya feeling Roxy?" Jane took the tray containing the soup and crackers over to the Lalonde, handing the tray to Roxy. "Eat up."

Roxy sniffed, looking at the soup. "Thanks Janey. It's really nice of you-"

"Eat." Jane demanded, giving a glare in Roxy's direction.

"Okay, okay... jeez." Roxy said, scooping some soup into her spoon, blowing on it and taking a bite. She just about spit it out, her mouth burning. "Jeez Jane, did you make it hot enough?!"

Jane giggled. "Sorry Roxy... I should have warned you. Be careful. It's hot."

Roxy sniffled. "It's okay." Roxy took another spoonful, blowing on it before eating the spoonful. She put the bowl on her bedside table. "Ya know, maybe I'll wait till it's a bit cooler."

Jane smiled, getting ready to apologize again. Roxy noticed this, and stopped her. "Here, sit down." Roxy patted the bed, scooting over for Jane to sit. "I'm not contagious, I promise." Jane objected. "I really should get back in the kitchen, I was going to make you some cookies-"

Roxy grabbed her wrist, pulling her onto the bed. "Janey, as much as I love cookies, I'd rather have you sitting next to me." Roxy said through a stuffy nose.

"Okay, fine. But you better not sneeze on me..." They chuckled and put on a movie. Jane got under the covers, curling up next to the not-contagious Roxy.

About halfway through watching Mean Girls, Roxy fell asleep, leaning on Jane. Jane silently cursed at Roxy, but was thankful at the same time.
