Olivier got up and came to put his arms around me. "All of this stress isn't good for the babies."

"See? I don't understand you. How can you know that one fact, and yet insist on keeping my source of stress around?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Nice try Miss Kidman, but I'm still not interfering."

"I just, you don't understand Oli. I have the most complicated relationship with that woman and having her here is making me have suicidal thoughts," I complained.

"I'm going to have to ask Dr Martens if being overdramatic comes with pregnancy," he teased.

I smacked his chest. "I hate you."

"And I love you. You're going to handle your mom just fine beautiful. You're one of the strongest people I know," he complimented.

"Not here I'm not. That woman can be evil and right now she's the drunk devil personified," I argued.

He laughed a little. "That sounds so wrong, but still, I feel like you can handle her. You're not giving yourself enough credit."

I was about to say something when Richard walked back into the room, looking grim. "What is it now?"

"I don't know if this is the universe out to get you or what, but you will never believe who's at the gate as I stand here," he said.

"If you say Holly or Jeffrey, I might have to fly us out of the country," Olivier joked.

"Well you may as well tell your pilots to ready the jet because Jeffrey's here," Richard said before walking out of the room once more.

"Nope! I'm not going out there," I refused.

"So, what then? We don't let him in? Something tells me he's more than willing to stay outside until he sees you," my fiancé pointed out.

"Then it's a good thing I don't have a job. I don't need to go anywhere. Hell, I could stay here the whole pregnancy if I wanted to," I said happily.

"Forget it," he said, deadpan.

"Why would you want me to go out there and face my ex in any case? Aren't you the one who's supposed to be making sure that the security team makes him stand on the other side of the street?" I questioned.

He laughed. "That's a bit much. Besides, he's come all this way like your mother, and call it what you will but I'm curious to hear what he has to say. I bet it's along the lines of 'I made the biggest mistake of my life and I want you back'. I can't say I'm not looking forward to watching him get shot down."

"The fact that you find this the least bit entertaining is a bit irritating," I admitted.

"I don't mean for it to be. I just want to see you happy, and I want the people who have ever made you upset see you happy, but that won't happen with you letting them get to you like this. Now, I don't know what the story with you and your mom is, but I know what the story with Jeffrey is. He probably saw us in the news and realized that picking Holly was a huge mistake. You may not have loved him, but what he did to you did affect you in a way, and I just want you to be able to look him in the eyes and tell him that you're doing just fine without him- unless of course I'm wrong?" he said unsurely.

I smiled, pulling him in for a kiss. "You couldn't be more right."

"I'm here for you the whole way beautiful. Just tell me what you need me to do and I'll do it," he pouted.

"I need you to lift weights," I told him.

"Come again? You want me to lift weights?" he asked.
