Jason's POV
I have never been so nervous in my life. This trip has to go perfectly. I have asked Chelsea to go hunting with me, and I'm sitting here waiting for an answer. "Please baby? I just want you to experience another part of my life." I say, trying to bribe her a little more. "Ok, ok. I'll go, but only because you are so cute and I love you. Don't ask me to kill anything." She says pointing her finger at me. I laugh as I get off the couch and wrap my arms around her. "Thank you baby girl. I love you." I kiss her softly and smile to myself because she has no idea what I have planned.

(The Next Morning)
Chelsea and I are sitting in the deer stand and we are both freezing. It's the first snow of the season, and it's creating the perfect setting for my plan. "Jason, I'm so cold." Chelsea says with chattering teeth. "I know baby, me too. Just give me thirty more minutes and if we don't see anything, we'll go back to the truck." I tell her as I wrap my arm around her to help warm her up. She nods her head and kisses my cheek. After the thirty minutes has passed, I'm first to break the silence. "Let's head back to the truck baby." I say as I start to stand up. I grab a few of the things to carry back and grab Chelsea's hand, and we start our walk through the snow.

As we are walking hand in hand, I finally come across the perfect spot to pull off my surprise. I stop walking and empty my hands and Chelsea looks at me confused. "Chelsea, I love you with all my heart. I have since we were teenagers, but I always was afraid to tell you. These past few months with you have been the best ones of my life. I can't wait to see what the rest of my life with you brings. Chelsea Raine Stewart, will you marry me and become Chelsea Raine Williams?"

Chelsea's POV
"Oh my God! Yes! A million times yes!" I say crying as I look down at Jason on one knee. He stands up and slides the ring on my finger before wrapping me in his arms and kissing me. "Jason, I love you, and this was really sweet, but I'm freaking freezing. Can we go back to the truck now?" I ask him with a laugh. "Yeah, come on." He says laughing as well. We walk around to the truck in a comfortable silence. I can't stop looking down at my left hand and smiling. "Do you like it?" Jason asks when he notices that I'm staring at it. "I love it. I have to stop looking at it though or I'm gonna fall." I say as we walk the last few feet to the truck. "Let's go home." I tell Jase with a wink. "Yes ma'am."

I just finished my shower and now I'm heading downstairs. Jason went back to get the rest of the stuff from the hunting trip. I still can't believe that Jase proposed and that we are engaged. I have honestly dreamed of this day since I was 17. I never thought it would happen. "Baby girl I'm home." Jason yells as he walks in the house. "I'm in this kitchen. Are you hungry?" I ask him. "Only for you." He says picking me up and carrying me to our bedroom.
