"tae! i wanna go out in the rainnnnn!" you whined while laying on his stomach. "babe, i'm tireddddd. can't we do it tomorrow?" he protested. "this is the only day it'll rain in three months! pleaseeee?" silence. ".....i'll give you rain kisses," you whispered and he got wide-eyed. "i'm uP I'M UP-" he dashed around changing clothes and grabbing a set for you to wear outside. once you two have changed he drags you outside, giggling.
he throws you around and swings you in his arms. he jumps in puddles, splashing around water everywhere. he looks so cute like this, giggling like a child. he suddenly grabs your waist and pulls you to him, your back against his front. "close your eyes.." he whispers. you do as he says, and he lifts your arms up so they're out on either side. he wraps his arms around your waist and walks you somewhere.
"open," he finally says. when you open your eyes, you're standing in front of the lake by your house, but it looks beautiful. the rain, the leaves and flowers, the whole scenery looked incredible. it wasn't raining heavily and there was a rainbow starting to form in the clouds behind the lake, reflecting in the colours of the water.
he kisses your cheek and says, "you are my queen. you're the rose to my jack, and i hope we can grow old together." you turn around to give him a kiss, but when you turn he's not there. you look down and he's on one knee. you gasp, putting your hands over your mouth in shock.
"Y/N, marry me?" you nod your head vigorously, repeating "yes!" a hundred times. he smiles and stands back up. he puts his hands on your cheek and pulls you in for a sweet, long kiss, sealing the deal. "i love you." he whispers and smiles into the kiss.
