third person pov.

it's been two weeks since everything happened.

dallon and ryan became really close and often skip math class.

brendon kind of isolated himself from everyone, he still emails spencer who says he promises he'll be back by summer and be back for senior year.

ryan and dallon are at dallon's house playing Do You Think? as per usual.

"do you think?" is a game they made up where they lay on the lawn and ask a bunch of questions starting with "do you think?" without actually answering them

"do you think i should cut my hair?" ryan asks

"do you think i should serve a mission?" dallon asks

"do you think i should stop obsessing over the beatles?"

"do you think i should get a job to save up for an acoustic bass"

"do you think i should get a dog?"

"do you think we should start going to math class?"

"do you think we should talk to brendon?"

dallon sits up and looks at ryan.

"sorry." ryan sits up.

"don't be, i've actually thought about it too." dallon sighs.

"we can't be mad at him forever, and i know i might sound stupid because he basically cheated on me but i miss him and don't take this the wrong way, i miss him as my best friend, and if you really want to be with him you can i won't care." ryan says his eyes filling with tears.

"i won't do that to you ryan, but i miss talking to him too, we can try talking to him tomorrow?" dallon says.

"what if he doesn't want to be friends with us anymore?! what if we were too mean?! dallon i grew up with him i can't lose him!" ryan's voice begins to waver

"breathe, it's okay ryan. we'll talk to him and we'll start over if he wants to. we can pretend none of this mess ever happened." dallon says putting his arm around ryan.

ryan sniffles "okay, tomorrow we'll find him at lunch and fix everything."
