There she was with her golden blond hair, emerald green eyes and a warm smile that grabbed everyone's attention. Laura Hess, daughter of the flower shop owner, every man in the village longed to have her as their wife. There was one man however who plans to make her his. Robert Chase, a poor, but not homeless, male confident enough in his efforts. He had little money and lived with a well off farm owner. He knew no woman wouldn't want to live like him but he figured if she loved him, he'd reluctantly have a job working with flowers. In his travels, Robert has found a flower nearly impossible to get. This flower sat atop a mountain, from a distance it didn't seem like one the flower shop owned, and he should know.
The climb took weeks of planning but he never felt more prepared. He climbed for what seemed like hours but eventually he reached the ledge with the flower. To his surprise however, it was a whole garden of them. A beautiful garden of bright yellow and orange flowers that seemed like roses but definitely weren't. "I just need one then she'll love me". He picked what he seemed the best. He pulled and it didn't lift up. Even with big tugs, it would not be lifted.
"I see you came great lengths to get here" He heard a voice say. He turned to see a slightly older  woman with short dark hair that wasn't black but more brown. This woman seemed odd because she was wearing a skirt but with a typical male shirt and her glasses visibly cracked. What more was odd was that she stood in front of a house that he hadn't noticed before.
"Where did you-"
"So here's the fast version, I'm a witch and that flower you're trying to pick is enchanted." Robert could barely comprehend what this lady was saying. He could tell she was bat shit crazy but he was told to go along with any crazy person or else they would probably kill you in cold blood.

"Alright well can you-"
"Nope sorry. It will only work if you're giving it to someone who..." she tried to think "I don't want to say pure of heart but they need to be mostly good"
"Mostly good?" He repeated.
"Mostly good" She nodded. "But if you truly love someone who is mostly not good then I can try a counter spell"
"What's the catch?" Robert knew all too well how this went. His life was full of these 'catches'.
"I ordered a pie at this bakery and it's already paid for. Unfortunately I'm a bit busy at the moment so can you get it for me?"
"So you want me to climb back down, get a pie, then climb back up with the pie?"
"Oh of course not!" With a wave of her hand she reveals a path that would've been hidden by most people. "There now only takes half the time. It's the bakery in the village under the name Katherine"

Robert ran as fast as he could to this bakery. It was the bakery next to Laura's flower shop, and felt like he never needed to go in. This was a special case, it was for that flower for Laura. He ran in at full speed, panting, coughing and wheezing only slightly. The shop owner ran over with a cup of water, "Are you alright?" She asked worriedly.
"Pick up for Katherine" Her eyes light up
"Oh right!" She fast walked to the back. Robert looked up and only saw her long brown hair. He noticed how clean it was in here, how organized. He never knew what a bakery was supposed to look like but this seemed right to him. He calmed his breathing and drank the water. The baker came back with a simple box that was tied up nicely with twine. "I was getting worried, she ordered this yesterday but only now wanted it to be picked up." She handed him the box, she looked at his grey eyes and was nearly mesmerized. "I guess she must be busy to not come herself." Her blue, almost purple eyes left him almost immediately. He gave this aura that intimidated her.
"Thanks" He said while running out.
"Come again" but he didn't hear that, no one did.
