I opened my eyes one winter night.
Only to see a startling fright
All my fears standing there
An ear piercing scream no one could hear
No one to come and comfort me
The monsters all devouring hungrily
Ive lost my mind and they swallowed my heart
Now souless and cold but thats just a start
These monsters seem to start off as friends
But only to betray me in the end
Blood slips down my pulsing arm
Everyone says its called self harm
But this isn't caused by me
It's all the monsters, dont you see?
They nash and bite and curse and fight
Insult and curse and tease and it hurts
They put the blade to my arm
My monsters are my self harm.
