17. Say you will call her.

What to do?

If she’s mad at you for not calling her when you say you will, promise her that you will call her at a certain time of the day. This will make sure that she waits by the phone. Tell her when you call that you’re going to tell her a special surprise. Of course she’ll be really excited, and then don’t bother calling her. And the following day when she asks you why you didn’t call her? Tell her that’s the surprise you were talking about.

18. Calling her in the middle of the night.

What to do?

Call her in the middle of the night to ask if she’s sleeping. If she is, say “you better be.” Repeat this 4 or 5 times until morning. This will show her you care. Of course, you keep checking if she’s safe and she sleeps well and without nightmares haunting her.  This will make her think that you think of her even at your sleep.
