Her life wasn't easy,no ones life was. She didn't ask to be a demigod; that lifestyle itself was life threatening, always living in fear of monsters because no matter how much practice she had death was a part of life either from a monster, old age or something worse. she was among her mother's first children before the first giant war.
I guess her mother didn't think of that when she met my dad, her creation (I'll explain later, it's not as crazy as it sounds; I think well compared to her mother's relatives it doesn't really shock people now and I'm doing that again, you'll have to excuse my rambling it's a side effect from being a demigod you'll see that as you continue reading and now I'm breaking the fourth wall) anyways as i was saying my father is a pure-blood wizard.
Being the daughter of the goddess of magic and sorcery and a pure-blood wizard meant that she had to be taught magic from a very young age which was good and bad. As you know after a God or Goddess has a child with a mortal, contact was forbidden by their ancient laws but it was different for me.
The good news was that my mother kept me after begging Zeus for permission to teach me magic before I couldn't control it and it seem that he was in a good mood that day because instead of him having the final say, he placed it into a council vote which was rare for the other Olympians. Demeter said yes which was expected because it was Hecate who helped her when Persephone went missing, Persephone said yes which was not a shock to the rest as Hecate was her companion in the underworld-- the underworld queens answer caused her king to say yes also. Hestia and Hera said yes in the name of family. Ares and Poseidon said yes because Hecate helped them in making magical weapons for their children. The twins also agreed for reasons; Artemis because she was a girl and Apollo because she was a girl and Hermes didn't attend the council. She grew up with her mother in the underworld learning magic before she could walk and grew to see Hades as a father figure of some sort as she rarely saw her biological father and Persephone took care of her when her mother had business to attend but the underworld queen didn't mind she loved the little girl as her own, safe to say she got their blessings.
Bad news was that when her mother told her she was safe to live with her father, he had already had a family with a beautiful wife expecting a babe and a pair of two year old twin boys of his own kind might she add and didn't even tell me about them when they were in their arranged gathering, although he didn't treat her differently she felt like a stranger in his life with even more strangers and the is the fact that he wanted to move from Greece to eastern Europe or more commonly known now as London; for his wife to be more closer to her family.
Also knowing she had to eventually go to camp half-blood for monster training. To say her life got complicated was putting it lightly but hey that the life of a demigod and the FATES love to mess with them so she eventually got to work around it.
They moved to London and for summer she got a pet hell-hound from her uncle Hades to make travelling easy for her. she worked very hard in camp to show she was meant for greatness and she tied with her best friend Hercules although he was five years older than her. When he was gone she had her other best friend which was Dionysus, he wasn't very athletic like Herc and herself but he was fun to be around and always made me laugh--everyone knew the three of us were inseparable. Some thought it was weird the child of magic with the sons of Zeus but we didn't care, although Herc's way with things often didn't agree she didn't judge, everyone was different and he always got the job done. she helped Hercules and Dionysus with the bane of her mother when the giant war started.
Time passed and the her boys were given immortality, Dionysus was made an Olympian when he made wine and was known as the god of wine. Hercules was the greatest hero of their generation; he prevailed in everything he did no matter who got hurt and he might seem cruel but he suffered more than other and when he died it was expected that he would also turn an Olympian like Dion but no far from it, he got stuck as a gatekeeper, ... a butler to the Gods; a minor God. After all his work that is what he got, she was mad about that but she couldn't do anything but live her mortal life and wait for Elysium.
She grew to the age of thirty-- with many successes in life, there were some downfalls all heroes have; that the good with the bad.she got a job in camp as the camp director at the age of nineteen around the time the boys left and she trained the heroes for eleven years until one day when she was going to visit her father and started walking outside the camp, screams were heard outside coming from a distant and she being the closest met the sight of two boys and one girl no more than ten years being chased by a horde of cyclops, twelve at least and she taught at least one of them was a child of the big three. she died protecting them and as recompense the gods made her immortal in her last breathe and the children turned out to be a son of Zeus , a son of Hades and a daughter of Poseidon one weird bunch that was.
SELENE was then known as the GODDESS of Minor Magic, Sacrifice and Wizardry---user of the mist and a gift of foresight with the blessings from the underworld, she was a powerful goddess.

she will not be a minor goddess but not an Olympian. and when i mean minor magic i mean that its her mothers domain more than hers.
i somewhat will follow sections of the percy Jackson books because those books are life
If you notice I didn't add Hephaestus in the council and its because in PJ Greek gods... He came after Dionysus was a God and since Selene and him are best friends I left him out but will place him in later.
