Prologue

The sky. The blue, clear sky. Some people would think it looks beautiful. But, to me, a sky is the last thing a man sees before he dies in his own pool of blood. Well, it's not every day you see the sky like that. When you can't move at all or breath normally while looking up into that elegant sky. I-I can't even blink. My eyes are shutting. Am I really going to die when I haven't done anything with my life?

"You have a better life ahead of you my pawn."

Th-that voice. She should've ran when she had the chance! My brain panicked as I tried to speak; I could only spit out blood. She was smiling down at me now, her golden hair flowing through the slight breeze I couldn't feel.

"You are a very persistent boy," she said kneeling down beside my lifeless body.

I struggled to keep my eyes open. I can't hear her anymore. All I can see now are her lips moving.

My eyes completely shut.
