Olive:
"Children!" Miss Bentham Shouted, "Children get to the kitchen! Now!"

She speaks with urgency, something I have never heard from her.

Once I reach the kitchen I see her face, awe struck, and blood drained. She looked like a dead body.

"Miss Bentham- Alma, what is wrong?" I question.

"I will explain shortly." She whispers.

Enoch grasps my hand, making me jump. I turn to see him also drained.

Before I can say anything Alma starts,

"Children, we have faced a terrible loss."

A single tear falls from her eye.

"A loss not yet in action, however soon to be.  I hate to have to say this,"

Her voice cracks.

"Enoch will be leaving us, next week Enoch will be put into another foster home."

I turn to Enoch, I feel my heart collapse.

"No." I gasp,

"Olive."

A/N: okay! So This is a little teaser for the rest of this book. I know I have been so inactive with it. However, As I look back on it I am thrilled to say that this story will pick up where it left off. I hope you all understand, and will continue to read this book as I feel that my knowledge as a writer has expanded and I hope you will stick around to see.

Much love,
