Should we tell them how he was raised?

It would help them have a better understanding if that was done.

*looks down* But...

How about I tell this one?

*hopeful* Please, brother.

Based on what you read previously, you would think that Harry had lived happily with his father. But sadly... this is not true. Harry was taken from his father about a week after the events of Halloween. Severus's memory erased of the child and his relationship with James and Lily. Harry was taken to Lily's muggle sister who's husband despised magic.

*saddened* At least Tunia and Dudey were nice. Right, brother?

Yes. Petunia and Dudley Dursley were kind to Harry. They cared for the boy after every beating he got from that vile creature named Vernon. They fed him and treated him like family, just... never around Vernon. That was until a few weeks before Harry had received his Hogwarts letter.

Harry was doing his daily chores. He was cleaning the living room, but the only downside, his uncle, Vernon Dursley, was watching the tele at the time and Petunia was at the store. Harry was cleaning the coffee table because he had to wait until his uncle was done so that he could vacuum, and he accidentally got in his uncle's view.

"Get out of the way, whore!" Vernon yelled, hitting Harry in the head.

*mumbles, whining* He's not a whore...

No. Harry is very much not a whore brother, but remember, this is what had happened. You wanted to tell them the truth, correct?

Yeah...

If you want to, you can leave. I'll try to finish this as quickly as possible.

No, no. Continue.

*nods head* The boy moved out of the way and made sure to watch where he was.

"I said, get out of the damn way!" Vernon yelled again. Harry knew that he was out of the way for he was at the end farthest from the tele. That didn't stop his uncle from getting up and throwing Harry across the room. Nor did it stop him from beating and kicking Harry for a good few minutes.

*winces*

*hugs his brother close* Once his uncle was satisfied, he sent Harry away and the boy decided to leave the house. He ran where his feet took him and found himself in the park. He saw his cousin playing on the swings.

Harry looked around to make sure that his uncle didn't follow him or any of his uncle's friends were around and walked over to Dudley, not noticing his own limp.

"Hey, Dudley." Harry greeted quietly.

Dudley's eyes widened in horror at the sight of his cousin. He got off the swing and immediately went to the boy's aid. Dudley supported Harry as he took the dark-haired boy to a nearby bench.

"Harry, what happened?" Dudley asked.

"Uncle Vernon beat me again. I accidentally got in his way while he was watching the tele and he hit me on the head and told me to move. I moved and was completely out of the way, but Uncle Vernon said I was still in the way and threw me across the room, then beat me." Harry said, tears filling his eyes as the pain started flowing through his body.

Dudley wrapped his arms protectively around his younger cousin and started to rock, soothing the crying boy.

As the sun started setting, the two boys left the park and started on their way home. When they got there, Dudley snuck Harry up to the bathroom, not knowing where Vernon was, and started helping the ten-year-old patch up his injuries. Dudley also checked to see if Harry had any serious injuries, but there were none that he could tell, besides a broken arm.

"I'll tell mum," Dudley mumbled as he finished patching Harry up. He, then, went downstairs to find his mom and tell her, without his dad knowing, that Vernon broke Harry's arm.

Luckily for the three, Petunia knew how to drive, so she snuck the boys out and told Vernon that she was taking the boys to the store. Vernon just grunted in response.

When the trio returned, Vernon was pissed that they had to pay for a cast for Harry, along with any other expenses.

Harry was glad that he didn't have to do anything. Dudley was more than willing to help his cousin. He even took over some of the chores, like getting the mail.

*looks at his twin* It is over, brother.

At least that one. I don't know why we tell, though. I don't enjoy the parts where Harry gets hurt.

I know, brother. For those parts, I shall tell the story. You can correct me as needed. How's that sound?

*smiles at his twin* I like that idea, brother.

Things will be alright.

Things will always get better.

No matter your beliefs.

No matter who or what you are.

Things will always get better.

Hey, guys. Here's chapter two. I absolutely love the new setup I have for this story. It will help everyone discern that someone that was there is someone telling the story. I know for sure that when I'll really start integrating these two into the story is at the sorting. Now, for a few things that will help you all.

1. They are twins that I made up. They are my characters. Although I do love people theorizing, that is completely pointless with these two. They came straight from my mind. No Life and Death; I see Life as a female, not a male. No Lestrange twins. Nothing. They are completely and 100% my characters.

2. Because my notes are set up this way, with the bold and italics, I can't have it set like this when they speak at the same time. That's why I have it underlined. The twins speaking at the same time will be underlined. Once the story gets to a certain point, the twins won't really be talking as much as they are, so I'll be able to set things up normally.

3. In general, the twin who's talking is in bold will be telling the story. When it comes to Harry being hurt, the other twin will be telling the story.

4. Their names will be given in the sorting chapter. It will also give me time to come up with the other twin's names and decide which twin will be who.

5. I know I put off my stories a lot. I'm terribly sorry about this. I really want to get back into writing. I've decided that I will take things one story at a time. I have started this one up again and I will be finishing it before I even think about the other ones that I have. That being said, no, I will not be unpublishing everything except this story. I also know that this is another excuse, but it is one that is actually worthy. My personal computer needs a new screen. I can't use it at all anymore until I can get it fixed. I'm currently using my mother's computer to write all of this. I can't be using her computer all of the time, so I have no clue what my update schedule will be or an idea of what it could look like. As of this moment, they are spontaneous updates. They will remain so until things are back together. I'm also training for the Army so that I will actually be able to get through basic this next time. Please forgive me for delays or lack of updates. I promise with everything that I have that I want to work on all of this and give you guys great reading material. I've also come up with a way for me to keep story ideas and keep myself reminded of them. Since I've gone to basic; I was gone and sick for nine weeks and I'm still sick; I've come up with 11 more story ideas and I've written down a good portion of each. I do go back and look at what I've written them in and they stay in mind. This is actually helping me. I can focus on this without forgetting any of my stories or their general plots. Writing and reading as much as I do, you could easily forget what plot goes with what story and what the story is about. There are some stories that I've read before and it's been so long since I've read them or I've read so many other stories between the chapters that I've forgotten what the story is about. Anyway, I'm rambling now. The main part about this is the fact that I won't be active on Wattpad much until I can get my computer fixed. I'll be going to Best Buy on the 26th of December to see what they can do to fix the screen. It most likely is going to be completely replaced and I don't mind that.

Anyway, vote, comment, all of that stuff. L out.
