The alarm goes off and this is the beginning of the end. Senior year already the time has flown by and it’s time for me to start my last year of high school. I get up and jump in the shower and get dressed. Its funny when I was younger I would pick out my outfit for the first day of school the night before, make sure everything was perfect. But now everything is different. Ever since sophomore year I stopped caring. I head downstairs and ate my breakfast. Eggs with toast.  The most boring breakfast, for a boring day. Or so I thought. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Casey Anderson." The office secretary called "Here." I said. "Okay, here we go. This is your schedule and this is where your homeroom will be in the new building." The cheery lady was starting to get on my last nerve. "Thank you." I replied trying to get out of there as fast as possible. "Thayer Benson." wait, what? I got out of there as fast as I could. I've been trying to forget about him for the last two years, and now this just ruined my whole day. Wait why was he at school anyways? He was a junior when he left so he should have graduated while he was away. Stop. why are you even thinking about him again. And why am I asking so many questions? While I was asking so many hypothetical questions, I didn't even watch were I was going and I walked straight into a door. "Ow!"I screamed as I fell on my butt. I looked up and there was the girls bathroom door. The school’s principal walks out "Oh Ms. Anderson I'm terribly sorry for that. But I can't stay and chat first day very busy! Already had to see two deviant freshman today!" "That's ok Mrs. Beasley it wasn't your fault. Have a nice day." I trailed off as she was already down the corridor and around the corner. Yeah this day was chalking up to be the worst day of all my first days of school. Not excluding pre-school but that’s just because I cried the whole day because I hated my teacher. Anyways I got up and was about to turn down the next hallway when this happened. "Casey?" Thayer called out. Oh shit things just got interesting. I had options I could pretend like I didn't hear him or I could turn around and face him. I chose option one and kept walking. Childish I know, but what was I supposed to say I hadn't seen or heard from him for two years and the last time I saw him, I had professed my love for him. "Casey, please wait." He yelled. This time I couldn't ignore him. I stopped dead in my tracks, counted to three and faced the boy who broke me heart. He looked almost exactly the same, except his hair was a little longer and he had a scar on his cheekbone. "I'm back. Umm, how are you?" He asked. I just looked at him. I honestly didn't know how to answer him. I was confused, hurt and a little angry so I settled for "Fine."

"So, I came back to graduate. I dropped out after i left.....and this is my senior year too." He rambled a little too quickly. Apparently he was as nervous as I was seeing me for the first time in years. I didn't know what to do or say, so this time I was the one walking away, and he just let me go. I cannot believe he is actually back. All the old memories and feelings flooded back especially his denial of me and that was the moment my heart chose to break all over again.
