I practically fly to Scotland Yard.
I sprint to Lestrade's office to find Haley sitting glumly on his desk. I'm worried though because she doesn't look quite the same as before I lost her. Tears glaze her eyes as she does nothing but stare at the floor.
I rush and kneel down in front of her, looking her over, "Haley, what's wrong...what happened?" She looks up and just wraps her arms around my neck, her tears dripping on my shoulder. I'm almost crying because she's been through hell this week and I couldn't help her, I couldn't even find her!
We stay in that position for a while, comforting one another. Eventually, Haley falls asleep and I carry her out to a cab, then back home.
I love her so much.
