Why I love him
He always stands up for what he believes in. He never backs down. He's ambitious. He'll do whatever is necessary for him to get where he wants to be. He's one of those amazing bad-guy-that-dies-revealing-he's-a-good-guy-underneath types that I'm pretty sure everyone loves. He died betraying Kronos, and by doing so saved Percy's life. He's brave and, despite being the son of the Revenge goddess, kinda compassionate. Also, who doesn't love a tough guy with an eye patch? Ethan GAVE HIS EYE so that he could be powerful enough to fight for what he believed in! How can you not love someone like that?

Ethan: (muttering angrily) There is no throne to Nemesis. No throne to my mother.
Ethan: (with his dying breath) Deserve better... if only they just... had thrones...
That last quote made me cry when I read it in the book. After this, surely you must love Ethan, or at least understand why I love him so much!
