Lilac Pov
"Lilac I swear to the goddess of you don't give me back my phone." Levi breathes through clenched teeth. Mom does that when she is really mad, too. I giggle in my hiding spot and quickly cover my mouth. "I hear you..." he says in a taunting voice. He goes to the closet on the far side of the room and I crawl out from under the bed, sliding down the staircase and into the kitchen. I hide behind mom as she makes spaghetti with these weird meatballs with granola bars and meat. I think there is coke too. They're really good though. I hide behind her, her 5'4 frame still towering over me.
I gulp as Levi runs into the kitchen. He sees me and doesn't even think to go around the island before bumping into mom, her sauce flying onto the floor and on moms white flower shirt. She looks at him with so much anger. I stare at the scene before me, Levi with wide eyes and mum about to beat the shizzle outta him. She hits him with a burning hot spatula and he screams while holding his hand. She looks about to do it again but dad steps in the kitchen. He also takes in the scene and zooms over too mum, holding her hips tightly. Dad throws her behind his back and stands in front of Levi.
"I don't know what you did. I don't care. You made my mate mad. You are very lucky you are days away from being the alpha or else...." dad trails off and we all know what he meant. We gulp and Levi nods before I throw his phone at him. Lilac- 1839201661915 Levi- 3
I smirk as he groans and runs out the room, going to take a shower.
I turn on the water and moan at the feel of the water on me. My wolf purrs out and I rinse the soap from my body before wrapping myself in a Vera Bradley towel. Mom is so extra sometimes. I pull on some silky floral shorts and a tank top. Sooooo comfy. I skip downstairs as mom yells dinner. I sit down happily and mom glances at me before looking at my outfit. When she finally stops the door bell rings.
"Luna Nicole! Alpha Ryce!" A pack member enters, frantically. Mother immediately runs to the poor soul and he sputters randomness. When he can breathe he finally says: "Luna, its Alpha Sin. He killed.... he killed... he killed Your mother." He whispers the last part. I stop breathing. Grandma was my rock, my heart, my inspiration. Now.... she's gone. Mom gasps.
"No.... it can't be." Mom mumbles out and starts crying. She turns when she hears a sob escape my mouth. Her eyes widen. I-I can't do this. I gulp back tears and run up to my room. I lay on the bed- how could this happen? I go to bed think the exact same thing.
