I giggled as Jerome grabbed my hand.
"C'mon Adriana, let's go!" Jerome said
"I'm coming!" I giggled, and ran after Jerome.
We were late to our best friend's Spring Garden dance. I pushed my curly brown bangs out of my face and caught up to him. We stopped at the front gate to the party.
" Names?" a finely dressed man asked us.
"Adriana McKinney." I said, dully
"Jerome Aceti." Jerome droned.
"Enter." the man said.
We entered into the beautiful garden. About Fifty yards was a DJ stand. to my immediate left was a huge neon colored dance floor.to my immediate right was a path way with a few of our friends on it. a sign read V.I.P ONLY and underneath that there was a list with all of our friend's names on it. We were also on it.
Jerome lead me down the multicolor stone path. We stopped to admire all of the beautiful flowers. I even bent down to smell the daisies and roses.
"Hey Jerome! Glad you made it!" Mitch called, momentarily tearing Jerome's attention away from the flowers. i sighed and walked farther down the path.
"Adri! over here!" Aleza called out to me.
"Where's Fluffy?" she asked me. I pointed behind me.
"Ohh. Good luck with that!" she said to me apologetically. I dismissed the thought with a wave of my hand.
a few minutes later, Jerome had caught up with up, and took my hand. I started to blush. He laughed at my reddend cheeks.
We met up in this beautiful garden lit up wiht a variety of glow jars, glow sticks, fairy lights, and tea candles in lanterns.
Jerome handed me a beautiful blue rose. All of the sudden the song changed from "Timber" by Pitbull and Ke$ha to "Right Now" by One Direction.
"Glitter is an amazing thing." I said softly
"It really suits the garden." Jerome replied. He turned to face me. "Wanna dance Ari?" Jerome asked.
"Of course I would." I stated.
He placed hisright hand on the small of my back. I placed my left hand on his shoulder and entertwined our free hands together. we spun in circles and swayed until the final beats of the song faded out.
"Adriana mcKiney, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked me. I placed my lips on his and kissed him.
"I'll take that as a yes." a flabbergasted Jerome said. I giggled at him.
That was the best night bever!
