After the fall

Chapter one

-Yang-
Yang woke up with a jolt, she looked around and tried to recognize her surroundings. Then she remembered that she was on the path to Mistral, she had fallen asleep for the night under some trees off to the side of the path. She stands up and stretches and then yawns. She rubs the back of her head and walks over to her bike "Hello Bumblebee" She was hit with a moment of sadness, for it was the same name as her team attack with Blake, she felt a moment of sadness for she didn't know where she could find her teammate. "Cmon Yang stay on Track, find Ruby first, don't be a hot head" she chuckles at her terrible pun as she mounts her bike and drives down the path towards Mistral letting her hair fly behind her in the wind, a smile returning to her face.

-Ruby-
Ruby walks through Mistral, looking at the sights and people that she's become slowly familiar with, smiling and waving at some shopkeepers she's come to know as she returns to the building she was staying in with her friends and uncle. She's greeted at the door of the building by Jaune "Hiya Ruby, what did you find while exploring?" Ruby looks up at Jaune and smiles "Weiss might be here, and rumors say something about a dark and mysterious cat faunus with a monkey faunus might be here as well!" Jaunes eyes light up at this development "Wow! That's great news, Blake and Weiss?! Now all we need is Yang!" Ruby looks down and becomes sad "She never replied to my letter...... And Dad said she went missing.... " She wipes away the tears forming in her eyes and Jaune rests a hand on her shoulder "Ruby, Cmon this is Yang we're talking about, she's fine, you know nothing can stop her, maybe she's even on her way here right now" Ruby looks up at him again and fakes a small smile "Thanks Jaune.... Y-you always know what to say" Jaune smiles and seems happier "We'll come on in, Ren made pancakes again, hurry up and get some before Nora eats them!" He lets Ruby into the building and she heads to where the rest of them are gathered

-Weiss-
Weiss sighed and unpacked her things, she was staying in a dainty little apartment building to hide from her father "Is this how normal people live? It's not that bad actually" She finishes unpacking her clothes and finds a photo of her and her team, She looks over it sighing when she sees Yang and Blake in the photo and pauses on Ruby, some tears well up in her eyes and she smiles slightly "Dolt" she says quietly and places the photo on the night stand and she takes a seat on the bed and looks around "I wonder if this is what Winter did too when she ran" not even realizing she was talking to herself and she lays down on the bed and closes her eyes her long journey tiring her out

-Blake-
Blake walks the streets of Mistral, going to the shadier parts of the town, asking everyone she could about Adam or the White Fang, she had been in town for a while now and was still gathering information on the location of Adam and his operations, halfway through questioning someone she receives a tap on the shoulder and turns to see sun standing behind her "Sun?! What are you doing?! We're supposed to be getting information to find Adam!" Sun looks at her and smiles "Relax Blake, we've caught scent of him and are on his trail, plus I got hungry so I got us some snacks" He holds up a banana for her and she takes it before tossing it angrily "We have a job to do! Because of him you've been hurt and Y-yang was also hurt!" Her voiced wavered at the mention of the blonde and she looked at him showing anger "Okay, Okay! I get it, and may have a place to look" Her ears perked up "Where?" He gestures behind him "If we can get into the bars here there's a faunus that's been set up to recruit more members, all we have to do is ask him where to go aaaaaaand WHAM!" He smacks his fist into his open hand to simulate a hit, Blake seems impressed but that quickly fades "Good work, but we need a way in and we can't just go to the Main location, none of us can take on Adam, he's to strong" Sun scratches his head "Yeah, you have a point, I mean if he can beat Yang, then we need to be extremely careful" Blake immediately tenses up at the mention of Yang getting hurt and her ears fold "I know... " she looks at him and seems sad "We need to get everyone back together" Sun places a hand on her shoulder "It'll be difficult but once we're all together, we'll be able to do it" She looks up gratefully "Thanks Sun, it's nice that you seem to know what to say" Sun smiles again "Hey, I've seen Yang do the same, which means it works" Blake smiles and nods, then she stands and walks towards her hotel
