When Atlantis fell,
It became a mystery..
The country that everyone knew,
Passed down through ages of history,
Vanished without a trace.
When Atlantis fell.
When Atlantis fell,
The world shook..
Full of wonder and confusion
Is how all of the people looked.
It was in the papers, the news,
Of course everyone started looking for clues..
When Atlantis fell.
When Atlantis fell,
The mayor decreed,
"Whoever finds these clues shall be dubbed the country's hero! Now go out and do this great deed."
The whole village went out to find it.
"What could make a whole country just disappear?" They'd all say,
"Maybe it flew and took off to the atmosphere!" Others would reply,
The village was confused and bewildered.
When Atlantis fell.
When Atlantis fell,
The village searched for months and months for the missing country,
But then stopped abruptly..
The country they all were searching for,
Was really no more.
The country that once used to be,
Was now just a single memory,
When Atlantis fell.
When Atlantis fell,
It not only changed the course of history,
But it also changed the lives of you and me.
The story that was passed down the ages for all to tell,
Now will be remembered by,
"When Atlantis fell.."
