"Mom, are you sure this is the right way?" Kimiko asks as she looks out the window.
"Yep. This is the way the directions say to go." Elizabeth said as she watches the road ahead of her for McClain Castle.
"Maybe we should have waited for lawyer to show us the way to the Castle. I mean knowing our luck and our direction challenged self's maybe this wasn't the best idea." Kimiko watches as nothing but trees and open meadows fly by the window.
"Hey! I am not the one who's directionally challenged! That's just you my dear Daughter." Elizabeth laughs as Kimiko turns in her seat to glare at her. "Hmm I could have sworn that I taught you better than that my daughter." Elizabeth laughs again as she moves her attention back to the road. "You have to put more feeling in to your death glares."
"Shut up and drive Red Headed She Devil." Kimiko mutters under her breath as she crosses her arms over her chest and moves back to watching the objects flying past her window.
"Damn straight my little minion!" Kimiko rolls her eyes.
"Hahaha very funny, mother, but I think you have been watching too much Anime."
"Hold your tongue! There is no such thing as to much Anime!" Elizabeth says in mock horror as she dramatically brought her hand to rest over her heart. Sighing, Kimiko rolls her eyes at her mother's antics.
"I am starting to regret introducing you to Anime now. If I had known it would make you more dramatic and crazier than you ever been I would never have allowed you to watch it with me."
"Oh, and you accuse me of my dramatic ways, while all the while you are going into a drama Queen monologue." Elizabeth says as she looks over at her daughter, who was once again glaring daggers at her.
"Seriously?"
"Oh, look at that!" Elizabeth says as they brake through the forest line to see a little town pop out. "It really is a charming town like the lawyer said it would be." Kimiko holds up the map in her hands, finding the tiny dot of a town that marks the end of the drawn line the lawyer created for them to follow.
"Yeah it sure is. McClain Village. The Castle is up on the hill above the town, if we keep going straight on this road we will come right up to it." Kimiko says as she read the lawyers notes on the side of the map. She smiles when she catches a glimpse in the review mirror of a young woman sitting up in the backseat.
"Are we there yet?" Menmen says sleepily as she rubs her hands over her sleep lined face. Kimiko snickers as she finds the red imprint of the seat on Menmen's face. She nudges Elizabeth before discreetly pointing to Menmen's reflection the review mirror, causing them both to silently crack up.
"Almost minion number two of mine." Elizabeth says as she holds back the laughter at Menmen's tousled hair and sleep glazed eyes.
"Oh ok." Menmen mutters as she lays back down in the back seat. Kimiko turns to look at her over the passenger seat.
"Wow and we have a new recorded of an amazing three seconds flat." Laughing, she turns back around as Elizabeth steers the car in to the village, where the road transforms from paved to a narrow cobblestone street. "Man, real cobblestone roads are more uneven then they look." Kimiko comments as they are slightly tossed around in their seat.
"Hey!" Menmen yells as she pops up from the backseat to grab the back of the front seat. "What the hell are you driven over? Damn potholes?" She asks as she rubs the sleep from her eyes, while still hanging on to the front seat.
"Cobblestone road." Kimiko answers as she looks out her window to get a good look at the village and its people. "Uh Mom are we suppose to drive up this road? There are a lot of people staring at us, and I don't see any other cars."
