Blue boy

The light flickered before me
The tongues of flame still felt new
And despite the bonfire I see
My eyes are always drawn to you.

The acne you thought was so bad
Highlighted by the burning wood
Your ocean eyes driving me mad
In ways I never knew they could.

Hair with more fluency then the oceans waves
And colour to rival the purest blue,
An unimaginable amount of lives it's wearer saves
But how could I be so for you?

I try without success to mean more to you
Never the less you bring me unending joy
I just wish there were something I can do
Just something for the one we love, our blue boy.
