A Mates Mark

"Bastard" Sam swore as his eyes turned nearly black and I noticed his body start to shake. I stood there, still shocked by his reaction, when suddenly I was pulled away. I turned back to see Max holding me tightly, while I watched my brothers growls fill the air.

"Hunter" I shouted, knowing that he could hear me. Within seconds I noticed Hunter stand protectively in front of me as he snarled at Sam. "Control your wolf" His Alpha tone rang loud and I noticed Sam's body stiffen before he completely stopped.

He turned to look at me and then at Hunter with an hateful expression, before turning around and walking back into his room. Max let me go, but I barely noticed him. My mind was too focused upon Sam and the way he was behaving with me. I bit my lips and sighed shaking my head. What had I done to make my brother hate me.

"What are we going to do?" I asked Hunter, as he lightly stroked my cheek. I sighed, closing my eyes as I felt tingles run down my entire body. "We will figure out something. Even if your father knows where you are, he is never going to get past our guards" Hunter promised and I smiled lightly at him.

We made our way down and I noticed all the pack members stiff with concern. "Who wants to watch a movie?" I called out softly and everyone turned to look at me, cheering loudly. If I was going to be the Alpha Female then I needed to interact with them. I quickly picked up a movie and decided to let the guys chose. I groaned in annoyance and so did the other girls when I noticed them put Ring 2.

I snuggled closer to Hunter and noticed Sophie and Max kissing each other slowly. I turned to Hunter and picked him, as he turned his attention to me. "Are Soph and Max mates?" I asked quietly and smiled as Hunter nodded.

Turning my attention back to the movie I cringed as the first scene started. God! I was going to hate it.

Hours later, I noticed the satisfied looks on all the guys faces as their mates still clung to them, with their faces buried in their chest. I giggled as Hunter ran his hand to my ass, giving me a slight squeased. "I think I am going to make you watch horror movies more often" Hunter's voice growled in my ear and I bit back a mon.

"I guess you will enjoy it more if we have a private movie watching session" I said slowly, rubbing my body against him as I stood up. I noticed his shocked expression and blushed when I noticed how aroused he was.

"Who is hungry?" I shouted and all the girls stood up, making their way to the kitchen behind me to help. We made pizza, spaghetti and pulled out cans of beer for the guys. I stepped towards Sophie and Hailey as I watched them talking to each other. I stepped closer to them, patting Sophie on the shoulder.

"Livyyy" Sophie screamed and she hugged me tightly. I smiled at her enthusiasm and realised that it had been really long since we had spoken to each other.

"Hey Soph" I said quietly and noticed Sophie look at me with concern. I remembered that Hunter had told all the members about my father and that Sophie had been present there.

"I am fine Soph" I said and smiled at her. She nodded, but I could still see the worry that was etched on her face. "So you and Max?" I said wiggling my eyebrows and noticed as she blushed and nodded.

"We mated as soon as we found out we were mates and that happened just a few days ago" Sophie said, pulling her shirt down her left shoulder. I gasped as I noticed a brown coloured wolf howling and it sent shivers down my spine. "Its beautiful" I whispered as I slowly touched it. Suddenly Sophie moaned loudly and I noticed Max enter the kitchen. His eyes, were un focused and hazy as he quickly picked her up and threw her across his shoulder, carrying her, I guess, upstairs to their room.

I smiled at Hailey and then stepped back in the common room, setting the table along with everyone else. My mind kept replaying Sophie's words, 'we mated as soon as we found out' and I couldn't help but wonder why Hunter and I were still waiting.
