This is sadly not an update but I just thought I would share something with you guys about going down in history with this whole Leo fanfiction. The main question that came across was "how on earth did you come up with this plot?" Or "what made you even think of the book, Leo?"
Well...
I will tell you how I came up with this book in the first place.

(I'm really sorry if this will bore you but I will try my best to include some pictures so it won't exactly be that boring)

I couldn't exactly answer these questions how I normally would with other Q&A's hence why I am making a chapter dedicated to those who wanted to know or interested in how I portray Leo in different situations in my books. (That was a long sentence....)

At the beginning of my obsession with Leo, I was already obsessed with Leonardo DiCaprio himself and how he plays so many different characters really well in different films. The first movie I saw that included him was actually The Great Gatsby. But my first movie I ever saw with young Leonardo was Titanic. I was never familiar with his younger self before, only his current age nowadays.

My friends mentioned his younger self one day and that was when I never saw him around that age back in the early 90s. When I first saw him I instantly loved the way he looked (who wouldn't) and I had to find out what other movies he starred in.

After watching Titanic, I really loved the way Leo acted and his character as Jack Dawson. I was instantly obsessed and that was when I realised he was in the basketball diaries, Romeo and Juliet, Marvin's room, The Beach, revolutionary road, catch me if you can, what's eating Gilbert grape and soooo much more.

And each of his characters he played in those movies made me think how much I wanted to make my own story with Leo in it

And each of his characters he played in those movies made me think how much I wanted to make my own story with Leo in it. It went through my mind so frequently I kept thinking if I should really publish my own story or not. I was also scared that it was going to be stupid and not end up getting enough reads as I thought it might get. But, I eventually did which is this current book, Leo.

Leo in this story was first inspired by Jim Carroll in the basketball diaries. I loved how Leo was played as the rebellious teenaged boy and that's what made me think of a criminal in this book along with his mischievous friends. I wanted to have 2 sides of Leo in the story which also included some of his romantic sides so it's not just about a criminal. I always have some visions of Jack Dawson apart of his humorous personality but mostly Jim Carroll's risky and rebellious personality in there too.

A lot of wattpad stories I read had a lot of your stereotypical perfect boyfriend material type of guys and I wanted mine to be somewhat different. I wanted people to experience Leo in a different way because you're so used to seeing him as a perfect looking person. That's why I wanted Jess to keep her confusion because his looks fool her and she often forgets about what he really does to the world.

So that's what gave me the idea to write this book :) It's not a lot but I hope you guys have learnt a little something. (You learn something everyday they say...)
Once again, sorry if this bored you, I wanted to tell you how I came up with these ideas about Leo.

Don't be afraid to ask more questions about the book! I'm really open about this kind of stuff!

Love you guys and I'll see you in the next update! Stay tuned!!!! Xxx
