Secrets crawling
In the dark
Caressing shadows...
Hit the mark
Devious intent,
Swirls contrite
Innocent to victim
Evil's blight
Tank of emotions
Empty... not a drop
Human automaton
Won't ever stop
Bloody hands
Numbing rage
Sings a new song
Torn from an old page
A prize now won
Move on to the next
Just a day in the life
Of a soul vexed
