Tomoki's POV (Flashback to 11 years earlier...)

"Tomoki! Are you alright?!" Tama asked me, running over to me where I fell out of the tree, a skinned up knee and hands welcoming him

"Tama!" I cried out to him, lifting up my arms for him to pick me up, tears streaming out of my eyes. He grabbed a hold of me, my legs enveloping around his waist as I held onto him for dear life

"Shh, shh, it's okay, it's okay..." He cooed, rubbing my back and walking back towards the house to tend to my battle wounds. I sniffled, burying my face into his shoulder

"I hurt.."

"I know you do, but soon enough you will be all better, okay?"

"Kissy Promise?" Tama nodded before kissing my temple

"Kissy Promise."

(11 Years Later)

"Alright, she will be fine just keep her hydrated and check her skin conditions every half hour until it has all cleared up. Is there anything else needed to be done?" Doctor Mozales, our family doctor, asked Father who shook his head

"No, that will be all. Thank you for coming at such short notice."

"No need to thank me, if Master Tamaki haven't right away gave her her shot, the conditions would have been way worse. Call me if you need anything else." Father nodded before letting Doctor Mozales to leave, who came here right away after Grandmother called him, luckily not getting fired by her

"Tamaki, take your sister upstairs to get cleaned up, I would like to speak to your grandmother alone in private." Tamaki nodded before helping me up, my legs unfortunately falling asleep from the way I was sitting. Tamaki giving me some support, he lead me upstairs to my room, occasionally checking how I was doing before going back to looking forward. We entered my room and walked over to my bed, sitting down on it before sighing in relief

"I'm glad you're doing better. That was quite a scare, for all of us even Grandmother." I scoffed, remembering the emotion in her eyes, and it wasn't worry, it was shock and disappointment, disappointed in me for disobeying her orders for the first time in years

"She wasn't worried, never has been. I'm just a tool for her to use, I have had my suspicions about it and now it's just confirmed." Tamaki shook his head at me, not believing it for one second

"She loves you Tomoki, she always has. She may not show it a lot but she does love you-"

"Yeah right, no one can love a tool."

"You aren't a tool, Tomoki. Or a pawn of any kind. She just doesn't show her emotions a lot-"

"She clearly shows her emotions when she gets pissed, whether it be at me or at you or even Father! We can never win when it comes to her." I stated, hastily taking off my shoes and climbing into my bed, not bothering to change into my Pjs. I pulled the cover over my head, tightly shutting my eyes when Tamaki sighed in sadly. He leaned over the bed, putting most of his weight on his hands making the bed dip beside me. He kissed my comforter covered head before getting off of the bed

"Night Tomoki, see you in the morning."

(Dream)

"Mommy? Where are you?!" My 8 year old self yelled, running through an endless abyss of white, nothing being seen for miles upon miles

"Mommy?!" I yelled again, running like my feet were on fire. Pushing my tiny legs to go faster, I took longer strides and pumped my legs to the point of exhaustion, only adrenaline keeping me running for as long as I did. I don't know how much time has passed since I began running, but I knew if I stopped, I would never reach my goal. What was my goal? That question was answered when I saw the figure of my mother in the distance, my goal was to reach her, being able to hug her and tell her how much I loved her, only, each step I took, she didn't get any closer, only farther away

"MOM!" I yelled with my hand reached out towards her, tears pricking my eyes and blurring my vision.

(Reality)

I gasped loudly, my heartbeat racing like a motorcycle. I took deep breaths, trying to even out my breathing from the erratic state it currently was in. I froze when I heard snoring coming from next to me, I looked over to see Tamaki sleeping on a uncomfortable looking chair, bent over on my bed where his head and arms laid. I rolled my eyes, realizing he must have here all night. I looked over at my alarm clock to see it was almost 3 AM. I rubbed my eyes tiredly, blinking only to realize I still had my contacts in, and I rubbed my eyes. Shit. I got up from my bed and wobbled towards my personal bathroom, turning on the light and closing the door behind me to take out my contacts that unfortunately were lopsided from rubbing my eyes. I carefully took out my contacts before putting them back into their case, grabbing my glasses that sat on my counter and putting them on. With a sigh in relief, I exited the bathroom and turned off the light. I walked back over to my bed, using the moonlight coming in from the window to see and not step on anything that was on the floor. I sat back down on my bed, pulling the covers over my lap. I looked back over to Tamaki, cringing at his loud snoring. I flicked his forehead, startling him awake

"Huh what?" He snorted, rubbing his eyes before looking up at me

"Why are you sleeping in my room?"

"Huh?" Tamaki looked around as if he didn't realise he was in my room and not his

"Oh, I was just uhhh- Keeping an eye on you?" He told me, only his voice showed that he wasn't even sure himself. I sighed, laying back down

"Go back to your room Tamaki, if you don't remember, we have school in the morning."

"Oh yeah, gotcha. Umm, night Tomoki."

"Night Tamaki."
