Tomoki's POV (2 Days Till Alphonse Tonnerre Arrives...)

When I returned home, I opened the door to see two maids awaiting for my return, curtsying once they saw me

"Welcome home, Lady Tomoki!" They welcomed me back in sync. I nodded, slipping off my shoes before grabbing them

"Where is Grandmother and Father?" I asked them, my voice stern but strong

"Mr. Suoh is currently at the academy, milady. Your Grandmother, Lady Shizue, is in the study and does not wish to be disturbed until it's dinner time." I nodded, before walking passed them only to stop, slightly turning my torso to look at them

"Where is Tamaki, is he here or out?"

"He is in the Main Music Room, milady." I nodded before walking away, heading to where Tamaki was located at. As I neared the Music Room, I could hear the soft melody of a grand piano, presumably being played by my idiotic older brother. I opened up the door a smidge, wide enough for me to see Tamaki playing the soft melody that sounded throughout the mansion, reaching the ears of others. I opened the door fully before stepping in, closing the door softly behind me. I walked over to the grand piano, leaning on it as I listened to Tamaki play, feeling relaxed by every single note and chord he made with the keys ('The Path' Piano Music Tamaki is playing). I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, relaxing my shoulders from the tense posture they were currently in. I opened my eyes to look at Tamaki, watching as he played the song exquisitely, his eyes closed and his breaths calm and collected. After a minute or so, the beautiful sound ended, disappointing me. Tamaki finally looked up at me with his abnormal purple eyes, smiling widely

"How was your day with your friend?" He asked me, catching my attention

"It was fine, a little boring but fine." I lied through my teeth, barely putting any effort into my lie

"You do know that Himoko Yashi has the flu, right?" I cursed underneath my breath causing him to chuckle. I totally forgot that she was currently under the weather! Stupid!

"So, I took this viable information into account and asked everyone if they knew where you were, after some death threats against a certain shady twin, he told me all I needed to know."

"Hmph." I smirked at him, liking the way he did his research

"You realized that you just acted exactly like what Kyoya Ootori would act like if his little sister suspiciously went out one day." Tamaki stared at me in confusion. I sighed, dropping my smirk before explaining to him like a mother would do to her 2 year old

"As in, you are acting like your best friend the stalker." I deadpanned, him pouting at me

"That isn't very nice!"

"I'm just stating the facts, and why do you even care where I went anyway?" I asked him, knowing that he usually doesn't act like this when it comes to me. Tamaki blinked in response, casually putting together random chords to avoid my question. I sighed loudly, rolling my eyes at him. Stubborn just like Father... Then again, he is basically the spitting image of Father personality wise, but looks more like our Mother more than anything. Deciding not to pry Tamaki to tell me anything, I decided the only way to reveal his true emotions was to listen to him play, conveying his emotions within the music. Music, writing, drawing, basically anything creative can convey what the person is feeling while they are doing what they love. Putting whatever they are feeling into what they are doing. This is what Tamaki was doing right now, putting his emotions to rest in the music he was creating. I noticed the sudden change in the chords he was making, realizing he was now playing a song that I know all too well ( {HD} Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! -Surechigau K)

I looked over to see one of the violins we own out on display, as if it was calling to me. I heaved out a breath before walking over to it, picking up the instrument and it's bow, positioning it correctly. I began playing along with Tamaki, at the corner of my eye I could see Tamaki smile secretly, still playing the grand piano along with me. (Just listen to the wonderful music, because my god it's so good!). After the last note was played, the last key pressed, I lowered the violin, setting it back into it's place. The notes and chords still playing in my head, I walked over to Tamaki, sitting down next to him on the leather cushioned bench, Tamaki slightly moving over to give me more room

"Are you alright? The song you played was really depressing." I asked my older brother, showing my worry. Tamaki took a deep breath, his gaze still set on the keys of the grand piano

"I can't believe Father and Grandmother are still going to go through with this, with your betrothal and all even after all that has happened to you, why can't they see this is the wrong decision in life for you?!" He asked no one in particular, expressing his anger of my betrothal to Alphonse made by the Suoh and Tonnerre Families. I shrugged my shoulders, not even knowing why they haven't backed out on this yet either

"Don't know, but there is nothing we can do about it. We are only kids after all, they are big, we are small, they hold power over us, we do not. We have no say in anything until we are qualified as adults." I told him causing him to half-wittingly chuckle

"You got that from Matilda didn't you?" He asked me and I nodded

"It's somehow true though, no matter what happens in that film after that saying, that's how life works right now, and we can't do anything about it." My voice cracked a little at the end, surprising me. Even more once I felt something cold and wet drip down my cheek and off of my chin, splattering onto my thigh. Tamaki worriedly looked over at me, noticing the tears in my eyes. He leaned over before bringing me into a hug, crashing me against his chest. And that very day, I cried in my big brother's arms, letting it all out when alone with him the Music Room, unknown to anybody else in the mansion.
