Chapter 1

Lucy's POV

"Honey is the only food that never expires. The same honey that was buried with the pharaohs in Egypt is still edible and-"

The blaring sound of the school bell rang overhead, cutting off the professor who was spouting random "interesting" facts that he had learned on his trip to Egypt.

I stood from my seat, grabbing my bag and slinging it over my shoulder in the process.

"Alright everyone, don't forget that your papers about an US president is due Monday, so don't put it off until last minute." The teacher reminded despite that fact that the room was too loud to hear him anyways.

I speed walked towards the door, trying to avoid Carter and Adrian, the two guys who just loved picking on me.

I made it to the hallways without confrontation, I sighed in relief before I made my way to the parking lot. I walked over to the red truck that my older brother had lent me for college.

As I arrived at my car I realized why Carter and Adrian hadn't said anything to me while I was leaving. My car was covered in pink paint and there was the word "Fag" written in blue chalk on my windshield. I noticed all but one of my tires had a screwdriver sticking out of them.

I sighed, already used to this treatment. "Gotta give them points for creativity." I said to myself sarcastically.

I decided that I would get soap and water from home and come back to clean the truck before I called someone to tow it to an auto shop to replace the tires.

I felt the frigid wind of late November pass, making me pull my scarf up over my red nose.

Maybe I'll wash the truck when the temperature is back to double digits.

3rd POV

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Hidan yelled, his voice bouncing off the walls of the small cage that they had been put in.

"First off, we get turn into fucking cats. Second, we get sent to a weird world where no one uses Chakra or any of that shit. Now, we fucking get caught by whatever the fuck animal control is?!" He ranted.

"Hidan, shut up, we all know what happened, we were there." A brown cat with black stripes said to the grey one.

"Easy for you to say Kakuzu, you don't have to make sacrifices to Jashin while your stuck as a fucking kitten, may I remind you!" Hidan hissed.

"Listen, if you would just shut up, we might be able to find a way out of here." Konan, a dark brown cat, hissed.

"Well getting out of here isn't gonna do much, now is it, if we are still fucking cats, now is it?!"

"Shut up." Pein, a ginger cat with little black spots on his nose, threatened.

"I bet I could slip through these bars and grab those keys considering I'm the smallest, although I'm not sure why I would want to help Deidara out." Sasori, a ginger cat said calmly, licking his paw.

"What, un? Why wouldn't you want to let me out Sasori no dana, yeah? I'm obviously your favorite member, un!" Deidara, a long haired blonde cat, argued.

"I think that is a good idea." Pein praised. "Be careful and make sure they don't see you."

Sasori nodded, slipping through the bars with ease.
