Would it be really stupid if I asked Dante to repeat what he just said just to make sure I heard right?
I seriously think now might be a good time to run for the hills.
Now if only I had eaten some breakfast. Then I'd have enough energy to run for a couple of miles. But nooo I had to meet a werewolf-vampire hybrid and have him tell me I'm his mate- whatever that means.

That stupidly beautiful smirk.
"I'm not scared of you Dante. Well not as much as you think I am. So can you tell me what being your mate means. And explain all the hybrid, werwolf-vampire shi- stuff." I said correcting myself at the end.
I can't be disrespectful to who Dante is. One shouldn't judge too quickly.
Although I do think he has a bit of a temper.

"No I- wait let me go get you some breakfast. You're probably starving. Then we can continue this."
Dante left before returning a few seconds later a hot plate of food in his hand.
"That was quick."
"Hybrids have enhanced speed." He replied putting the plate in front of me and giving me a knife and fork.
"Thanks."
I tasted his food making a sound to show that I liked the taste.
"This is really good. Did you make it or your cook?"
