What are the three c's? There's cliche (because random books are the most original books ever), cringe ( just this), and cutesy (because of a certain cat in one of the chapters)

I'm trying to think of a soild story idea for my oc's (since at this point for my main one it's only random plot points), but I can't. Now, I'm angry and sad.
It's been like an hour or so and the ideas that I had just didn't sit right with me (:/)... Yup, that's all I'll been doing. Aren't I using my time so efficiently?
I know that it'll probably come to me one day but, I'm impatient and wanna try figuring then out now. Oh well.
